I know you all shared your busy Junes but I was curious how you plan on keeping the kids entertained ALL summer...... Poor Avery will have a boring summer with me and a little baby so I was trying to figure out if there was any good, semi inexpensive entertainment ideas. We will have playdates and a few trips to the local amusement park/petting zoo. But was looking for something different. Any ideas are welcome!View Thread
So I must find a new sitter for after the summer and after asking around I came up with nothing. Thought I'd try care.com. But why do I have to pay $70 for a 3 month membership (that will automatically renew) to get a person's contact information?! This seems rediculous to me and I'm refusing to pay the outrageous fee. Does anyone know how to find out a person's contact information without actually paying the $70?View Thread
This reminded me....Avery was about 2 or so and she somehow got a hold of my PURPLE nail polish. Then managed to open it and painted her entire hands and feet. All while sitting in her bed. Needless to say those sheets bit the dust. Pretty sure I had to soak her multiple times in nail polish remover so she looked human again.View Thread
There is a BBQ somewhere this weekend (DF told me about it but left out the minor details....when/where!). At home I decided I need to sort thru all of Avery's summer clothes from last year and figure out what fits and what she still likes. She's developed such a sence of style! Then to put the baby room together.. I've been putting it off forever now but decided the little man should have somewhere to sleep should he make his grand entrance soon! Five weeks to go, not that I'm counting or anything View Thread
I said not eating....it didn't even last a day! Haha. But I atleast will limit the type of food Avery's allowed to eat. Lol. So far I love it although its' absolutely huge compared to my old car. And Haylen, this car will be driven into the ground (hopefully after it's paid off! lol). DF's truck is already paid, thank god!View Thread
Yay! Finally sold my Audi and got a nice new family suv! I have to say that I am super excited. DF has a truck that we will no longer fit in as soon as this baby comes. So we decided to get something bigger that we will all have room in plus some extra. Decided on an Escalade!View Thread
I wear sunglasses year round. I've got to have atleast 6 pairs but for some reason the only ones that get lost are the expensive ones....cheap ones hang around forever. haha. DF wears his all the time. Except of course if he leaves them in his truck since my car is the family vehicle. DD has multiple sunglasses as well. She normally only breaks them out in the summer and has to be reminded to put them on. I think they're is a pair in the car and the rest are in her drawers.View Thread
