Thanks everyone! We went about a year and a half ago so I'm expecting something similar. Last time was all the Disney Princesses. This time they are advertising Mickey & Minnie/ The Lion King, and a few other "gender neutral" characters. I promise one treat, whether it be cotton candy or a flavored ice. I toss snacks in my purse/luggage carry on as well ;_)View Thread
DF is very much a "redneck." His dad has a farm and raises texas longhorns. DF insisted only on eat such steaks. He owns a diesel repair and performace shop. So his life revolves around trucks...and cows... haha!
I was leaning towards tickets for a concert that is a couple hours away. (Atlantic City). We could drive there, see the show, and then have a hotel room for the night. Far enough away to make it different but not too far that it's crazy expensive. And adult time is so hard to come by!
There is the normal family "celebration." His mom buys an ice cream cake for everyone's birthday. I don't like ice cream cake, never have. DF doesn't like any ice cream flavor but black raspberry (he's weird, I know!), and he doesn't eat cake. HahaView Thread
I know every man is different..... But I'm completely lost this year for a birthday present/activity for DF. He's so hard to get gifts for! I never even get so much as a hint. Just wondering what you ladies have done in the past for your SO?View Thread
I broke down and bought tickets to the Disney Mickey and Minnie on Ice show. Here this weekend. We have nothing going on and since Avery won't be an only child too much longer, I feel a spoiling every now and again is ok. Tickets were pretty decent. Thats so I save my money to spend $1000 on snacks/toys! lolView Thread
The door must be cracked. There is a nightlight in the hallway. Stuffed animals rotate nightly but "green blankie" always goes to bed with her. It was originally part of her crib set. Velvety with lace trim. It's looking pretty nasty but gets washed regularly View Thread
DD has TWO sets of bitty twins (thank you grandma!). One for our house and one to keep at the grandparents. I think this summer we will venture to the NY AG store for the experience. Yikes! I will bring the guilty grandma along. Haha!View Thread

I bought my tickets on the way to work....haha. Fingers crossed.
DF would love to own lots of land. Like a large ranch out west or something to that effect. But first and foremost, I'd like to get married! Then we can pick out some property. Haha. I'd make it possible for my dad to retire and live out with us if he'd like. He's very much an outdoors, hands dirty kind of person. I'd make large accounts for our children and retimement for ourselves. I'd pay off DF's mother/stepdads debts and make them comfortable. They do so much for us. Pay off the business loans for DF's business. Practical things. And then of course I'd like a nice long tropical vacation.....a girl can dream View Thread
I make my side of the bed and straighten up DF covers even when he's still in bed. He is still in bed when I leave in the morning. Sarah, I guess I'm somewhat like your SO! Haha. Avery will make her bed when she is in a good mood. And she's very proud of her achievement with every stuffed animal and pillow in it's place. If she's a grump, forget it. But I've never asked her to make it. I love crawling into bed with fresh, clean, unwrinkled sheets. I'd do it every night if I had the motivation (and 7 sets of sheets! Althought I'd never want to do the laundry)View Thread
