I was leaning towards tickets for a concert that is a couple hours away. (Atlantic City). We could drive there, see the show, and then have a hotel room for the night. Far enough away to make it different but not too far that it's crazy expensive. And adult time is so hard to come by!
There is the normal family "celebration." His mom buys an ice cream cake for everyone's birthday. I don't like ice cream cake, never have. DF doesn't like any ice cream flavor but black raspberry (he's weird, I know!), and he doesn't eat cake. HahaView Thread

DD has TWO sets of bitty twins (thank you grandma!). One for our house and one to keep at the grandparents. I think this summer we will venture to the NY AG store for the experience. Yikes! I will bring the guilty grandma along. Haha!View Thread

DF would love to own lots of land. Like a large ranch out west or something to that effect. But first and foremost, I'd like to get married! Then we can pick out some property. Haha. I'd make it possible for my dad to retire and live out with us if he'd like. He's very much an outdoors, hands dirty kind of person. I'd make large accounts for our children and retimement for ourselves. I'd pay off DF's mother/stepdads debts and make them comfortable. They do so much for us. Pay off the business loans for DF's business. Practical things. And then of course I'd like a nice long tropical vacation.....a girl can dream

Sarah, I guess I'm somewhat like your SO! Haha.
Avery will make her bed when she is in a good mood. And she's very proud of her achievement with every stuffed animal and pillow in it's place. If she's a grump, forget it. But I've never asked her to make it.
I love crawling into bed with fresh, clean, unwrinkled sheets. I'd do it every night if I had the motivation (and 7 sets of sheets! Althought I'd never want to do the laundry)View Thread
