Both kids go to bed at same time. After dinner they watch tv or play until it's time to go to bed. We try to get them upstairs around 7:45 and by the time we are all done it's almost 8:30. The kids either want to wrestle with daddy or read books. most of the time is wrestling which I don't like b/c it just gets them all wound up before bed.
We keep saying we are going to start earlier like 7:30 but it just doesn't always work out that way.View Thread
Great to hear from you. I don't get on often and most of the time just read posts. I hadn't seen you post in a long time and was wondering what happened. Glad it's all good news. That's great that you get to stay home, from all the SAHM I know they say it's a big adjustment. But one I'd gladly love to make
Don't have any book recommendations for you but all the other ladies suggestions sound great and gave me some good ideas. Ryder is an ok reader but I wish he would find a love for it like I do. I keep encouraging him to read and delve into the adventures he will find in books but it hasn't clicked yet.View Thread
Took DD for her well child visit and she is 50% in height and 30% in weight. She weighs 33 pounds. The dr. said as long she is eating healthy and growing she is fine. It's such a hassle to get her to eat. It's a nightly battle with dinner. She takes a couple bites and says "I'm done". We can usually get her to eat most of it after a negotiating process. It's so frustrating. She is the snack queen. All she wants to do is eat snacks all day.
Her speech has improved dramatically over the past year. It's just amazing to see her progress.
