Personally, I wouldn't have even told her about the cremation. My daughter is 4 and her grandfather (DH's father) passed away. We did tell her that he'd died and went to heaven and that's it. He was cremated but we didn't tell her that.View Thread
My husband was rooting for the 49'ers but I was rooting for the Seahawks. I always like the Super Bowl but I wouldn't necessarily say excited about it. I'm not really a fan of either team but will still watch it.View Thread
My husband didn't use the LATCH system in his truck because he said it was too hard to use. I hated that because the seatbelts in his truck wouldn't lock and thus the car seats were not secure. Our mini-van was made before the LATCH anchors were required so we used the seatbelts that thankfully locked.
My kids are now both in booster seats that use regular seatbelts so thankfully I won't have to worry about that unless/until I have grandkids.View Thread
My parents had one of their dogs put to sleep and one of my cats passed at home. We just told my daughter that the dog is in doggie heaven and my cat is in kittie heaven. She knows I was sad when my cat passed so she gave me a hug to help me feel better. She just turned 4 and hasn't asked any other questions.
My 6 year old hasn't asked any questions about where my parents' dog when or my cat even though he was pretty much raised around them.View Thread
