Poor DS. He woke up yesterday around 4:30a with a bad bloody nose and got two more in the course of the day. I put the humidifier in his room last night and will use that at night so hopefully that will help.View Thread
Last year, DS was in school from 11a to 2p. He would eat breakfast at home and lunch at school along with an afternoon snack. If my mom picked him up for therapy, she would have a snack of cheese, crackers, and juice ready in the car to eat on the way to and between therapies. If daycare picked him up, they would have a snack at her house. We eat around 5p most nights and DS is in bed by 8p.
Not sure how this year will work. He hasn't started yet but will be in school all day (9a to 3p) for the first time (he'll be in 1st grade). I called his school yesterday to confirm the times and was told a folder will come home with him the first week with information.View Thread
I almost killed my husband yesterday and I'm pretty sure it would have been justified. He had a meeting out-of-town yesterday morning but was supposed to be home in time to me DS' bus at 1p. Well, I get a phone call at 1:45p from transportation telling me no one is coming out to meet the bus. I tried calling DH's cell but no answer. I called my parents and no answer. Called my mom's cell and no answer. Called daycare and she said she could meet the bus but it might be a bit because she had to load all the kids in the car. Called my dad's cell and he answered and said they'd go meet the bus. Called daycare back and told her never mind which was good since she had realized her husband had the SUV. DH called later and said his meeting had been rescheduled from 9a to 11:30a and he'd forgotten all about DS' bus. How do you forget your own son? He said he didn't remember until he got home and noticed I'd left a message on his phone. Then he didn't want to drive and pick up DS because he's been driving all day. It was his fault DS was at grandma's. Luckily, I didn't have to press that point because my mom dropped DS off later.View Thread
