I was feeling this way last weekend & it lead to some comfort food eating so not so good for the weight loss. But I resolved to get up & get my work outs in this week. I do feel better than I did last weekend. It is cold here too but it has been sunny the past couple of days which helps.View Thread
How is the week going for you and your kids? was going good until DD wanted to wear a dress with tights & bad mommy does not have any for this year, yet. so we found some that fit but for some reason one leg had to twist for her toes to be in right. So commence meltdown about the tights, then didn't want the black pants under dress- too tight, she picked black pants with candy corns on them with a purple dress. then meltdown about shoes, coat & how backpack fit & on & on...I was so glad they were going to school. Any fun weekend plans? not really. supposed to be nice so we are cleaning up outside & getting ready for winter Biggest challenge at home/work or with the kids/SO? getting them to bed on timeto get enough sleep, them remembering to bring their hats home from schoolView Thread
When DH gets off work he is picking all of us up & we are going to vote. We have been talking about voting over the past few weeks & yesterday DS said I need to vote, too. Sadly, I had to inform him that he was too young, yet.View Thread
1. catch up on cleaning. we ran all last week & it is very messy. 2. fix dinner in all week long. as I said we were on the run all last week so we ate out most of the week. 3. get the kids to bed at 8 instead of 8:30 or 9View Thread
DD & DS (5.5 years old/in Kindergarten) 10-10.5 hrs a night. in bed at 8:15-8:30pm & mostly asleep right away but def by 9pm & we wake them at 6:45am.
On the weekends they are in bed by 9pm & they will sleep in until 7:15-7:30am sometimes after 8am if we are lucky. DD is usually up first unless she is really tired. I think she wants to watch tv so she gets up before DS.View Thread
I fix what's for dinner & they eat it or not. Last night I cooked chicken tenderloins in mushroom soup. They both said we don't want that but were asking for more when it hit their plate & they tasted it. They have to try everything on their plate. If they don't like the meat I will try to get them to eat more veggies & fruits to make up for it or offer a yogurt.
I do get how much do I have to eat but I just tell them to try to eat it. If I know they absolutely don't like something I usually don't force it. DS doesn't like green peppers so I will give him carrots instead.View Thread
we are all going on Oct 18. DH & I are getting the shot in the morning. His work gives them free to family members over 12 yrs old. Then the DC are going to get the shot at their pediatricians flu clinic that evening. They do not know it yet so they don't stress over it.View Thread
