Our second apt was in the seond story dormer....I don't think anyone fell down those either
Now we have no stairs haha....yayayay!!
BUT the people I used to babysit for when Michael was an infant, had a dormer so the stairs were straight up and steep....the way they were, it would be impossible to put a gate at the bottom. One day we were at the top of the stairs...Michael was crawling age... I don't remember exactly how he accessed the stairs but he tumbled like a rag doll down the steps......If I ran after him, I would have done more damage than good...so I cried, screamed and hoped for the best....he was fine....View Thread

My number two fears were waiting too long for the epi and my water breaking at home. I ALSO was very sure from day 1 I was getting lots and lots of drugs lol. DS1 was induced on his due date bc I had gestational diabetes and they didn't want him to get too big....and then DS2 was induced 2 days early...because I asked them to...My fears were too strong...plus he wound up being 9lbs without diabetes!!
But although both my boys had no complications...I would never do a home birth. God forbid me or my baby needed something and it caused damage or killed one of us....not worth it.View Thread

But for those that didn't know this....I hope the article did teach you something!View Thread
