Why not run her in to the docs to be seen. If it's worrying you, run her in. Maybe the doctor can suggest a cream or something you can use to clear it up. Don't forget about our Parenting Community as well, questions are welcomed there too!View Thread
I believe they say that water should not take the place of milk. You don't want your little one getting full on that and refusing milk or drinking less milk. But call your pediatrician to be sure, he/she knows your baby's health history and would know best. And don't forget about our Parenting Community here on WebMD. There is a pediatrician there for your questions and concerns. View Thread
I have to say, they seem to walk or be very active, or sit and talk a lot. I rarely know them to be both at the same time. I wouldn't worry but bring it up to the doc when you see him/her again. But I doubt there is cause for concern. Don't forget about our awesome Parenting Community to share your questions on as well.View Thread
Aug. 17, 2010 -- Eggs are behind a nationwide salmonella outbreak that caused hundreds of illnesses each week in June and July. The nationwide egg recall involves more than a dozen major brands that got eggs from Wright County Egg in Galt, Iowa. CDC and state investigators in California, Colorado, and Minnesota found clusters of salmonella food poisoning among people who ate eggs at the same restaurants. Those restaurants got eggs that came from Wright County Egg. Investigations continue in Arizona, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, North Carolina, Nevada, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Texas. According to a CDC spokeswoman, the outbreak is "pretty much nationwide."

Might be too soon in your babies lives to ask you this, but.. I have read that the Dugger's would welcome child number 20!! If you could afford it, would you continue to have babies? I'm guessing there reality show is affording them these blessings, but when is enough, enough? How do you share yourself with all these children and make them each feel loved? I catch that show once in a while, and it looks like to me the older ones are raising the younger ones. I guess that's how it has to be! Your thoughts?View Thread
Gosh I hear your frustration and sleepiness! Talk to your doctor but I'm not sure you need to even offer a feeding in the middle of the night at this age. Maybe letting her fuss it out and get back to sleep on her own is the answer but as it sounds now, she's waking up as a habit and not because she's really hungry. But talk to your doc, make sure he/she is on the same page, they might have some ideas as well. Won't hurt to call the office and ask to talk to the doc.
Don't forget we have a great Parenting Community here also. A great doc there to help with questions just like this as well! Keep up posted on how things are going.View Thread
I posted this on the 9-12 month parenting community as well. Thought it might be fun here too! Thought a poll would be fun, maybe spark some chatter too!
Celebrities have been naming their offspring odd names for years and years. Frank Zappa has a child named Moon Unit and for the life of me I cannot remember if it's a boy or a girl! And more recently Gwen Stefani has a child named Zuma Nesta Rock, (sounds like a soft drink) again don't ask me the sex of the child! What do you all think of these baby names? Something you could do? Have you named your son or daughter something different? What are your thoughts?View Thread
