That's just terrible. Can you talk to your pediatrician and have them recommend you to another neuro-surgeon. Maybe you can go to a doctor a little farther away. I really hope that you get a resolution. Your DS needs the best care he can get.View Thread
I've been giving my DD whole milk since she was 10 months. I just giver her a some in a sippy cup once a day. It's usually with lunch. She loves it.
I think it's better to start them prior to just having them go straight to milk at 12 months. That's gotta be a shock to their system. I also wanted to make sure she had no allergic reactions.View Thread
I can't believe I'm starting to plan my DDs first birthday party already. It's surreal to me that she will turning 1 so soon. Where did this past year go. I'm not liking how fast everything is going. She is so close to walking it's unbelievable. I just keep thinking of all the things she's going to be doing over the next year and it boggles my mind.
I feel like a horrible mom to for not getting as much of her 1st year on video as I should have. I always think about it but I never get around to just getting the camera out and doing it. And I'm bad at getting pictures too.
I keep thinking back at this time last year as I was waddling around. I do miss being pregnant.
Just thinking of all the mommies who had babies around the same time and thinking that we all must be amazed our babies will be 1 soon.View Thread
I totally agree. DD loves an empty water bottle with popcorn kernels in it. and i've shown her the tupperware cabinet so she can play with that while i'm working in the kitchen.
But she loves paper the most. she loves tearing it up and then eating it. :O) i try to get it from her before she gets it in her mouth but she's gotten some by me. extra fiber i gues...lol!! View Thread
I agree with PP, if your DD has teething pain the warm milk won't really help. I would use Tylenol/Motrin.
I have started giving DD regular milk once a day so her system gets used to it for when we stop formula in 2 months. I don't plan on giving any juice until she's 2 years old (recommended by our pediatrician). I did the same thing with DS no juice till after 2.View Thread
