Can any of you guys reccommend a good kid friendly pet that doesn't bark a lot? We don't really want a small dog- I guess maybe a medium sized one?View Thread

I know that it's normal to not have a period sometimes while you're on bc, but I took the mini pill for a whole year and always had a normal period right on schedule. I still get cramping ever so often but no bleeding at all. I have taken several pregnancy tests within the last couple of months so I know that's not it. I spoke with a nurse at the dr office and she didn't seem concerned. She thought it was normal. I already have an appt scheduled in June for my yearly exam. I wonder if I should just wait it out until then or if I should make an appt sooner?View Thread

I also wanted to update you on my friends I was telling you about that just became foster parents a year and a half ago and were placed with newborn triplets. The triplets turned 1 on January 12th and had a very fun Mickey/Minnie Mouse themed birthday party. My friends have been in the process of adopting the triplets and they just told me that on Valentine's Day they go to court to finally have the biological parents' rights taken away for good!View Thread

Yesterday I had to take DS1 to the doctor because of an ear infection. He cried the whole time in the waiting room. Once we got to the back to see the Dr I asked DS if he wanted me to read one of their books and he said yes. Once I started reading it calmed him right down! The book actually made him feel a little better!View Thread

You could buy a doll and show your son how you will be holding a new baby and how he is supposed to gently touch him and kiss him.
He will definitely have some jealous issues when you first bring the baby home. I suggest you schedule some one on one time with him. It will get really hard at the end of your pregnancy because you won't be able to lift him and you just wont have the nergy to play a lot. But you definitely need to have some alone time with him before and after the new baby comes. He will need it- and really you will too!View Thread
