I have tried everything, I have read so many things telling you what not to do but nothing that helps. He does not sleep soundly. He is just to lazy to go to the bathroom. I can wake him throughout the night, if i leave his room he will go right back to bed. I started setting alarms in his room he will turn them off and go back to sleep. The next thing I tried was to move the alarm so he had to actually get out of bed, walk across his room to turn it off. Well, he does get out of bed, he does walked across his room the TV stand where the alarm is and he does turn the alarm off however, instead of going to the bathroom he turns and go back to bed. Can anyone help me.View Thread
Thank You for sharing that information, however we have tried all this and more.. I had the doctor check him out medically and mentally. Everything shows him to be a normal healthy 9 yr old. We are not sure why he refuses to go to the bathroom or why he would rather lay in a wet bed. we had a long conversation and he told me that he just does not like getting up so he will just pee. That is why I know he does it on purpose. His bed sheets would be completely drenched in the morning I don't see how he can sleep like that every night. This is something completely different and I am not sure where to turn from here.View Thread
Hi, my name is Jackie. I am a stay at home mom and my husband is in Traffic Engineering. I read things on line about stay home MOMS. And here is what I say to them, "My daughter was tested for being gifted. She spent the last 3 hours of the day in Advance Talent class which started to prepare her moving ahead a grade mock FCAT test, science and computer sessions. My son passed his 1st FCAT test with 4's. However he is the reason I joined the community. His behavior has kept him from being placed in the Advance Talent class at their school and his refusal to got to the bathroom at night is driving my crazy.View Thread
