my son is 9 mths old he has his check up this week sometime and i was just wondering what his ounce intake should be right now he has 4 oz of formula between his meals and he wakes up normaly 3 times in the night but last few days only once it seems as though everytime i move him to 5 oz he starts spitting up more and seems to be really cranky when he was 2 weeks old his pedi told us he thought he had reflux cause he spit up through his nose alot and all but didnt put him on any meds until he was 4 mths old when he said he was under weight but if i cant keep formula down in him then how is he spose to gain weight he put him on pepcid and then at his 6 mth apt took him off of th emeds he seemed to be ok with out the meds cause he was getting three meals and his pedi said with him eating regular food it should clear up and he should be able to take more formula to a feeding to make him go longer well everytime like i said we up his ounce intake and he just spits up all the time and hes really cranky my plan is to talk to his pedi again about the spitting up and crankyness when you up his ounce intake so what should his ounce intake beView Thread
my baby is 8 mths old an dhas had cold symptoms almost regularly sence he was 6 mths old he has a constant runny nose and caugh caugh is bad at night i have been running a humidifire to help his caugh but not really noticing a difference anymore he seems to get better then with in a few days its back im not sure what im doing wrong im using lysol every otherday around the house to try to kill the germs were all washign our hands im washing his bedding twice a week were using hand sanitizers too my 6 yr old has been gettign this too left and right i dont know what the schols policy is but i send hand sanitizers to school with him and kleenex in his book bag he says hes using it i also sent a big half gallon jug of sanitizer to school in the beginning of the year i knwo the schools policy is to send your kid to school even if they have a cold as long as their caugh isnt disruptive and they have no fever i just want this cold gone for good when the baby sneezes if your nt right there all that crap is all over his face cause its alot coming out at onnce i just dont know what to do anymore other then wait and see if it gets better or if i should just take him in to his pedi cause maybe its somehtign more then a cold also when hes caughing literally afterwards hes screaming im wondering if its hurting him also hes not sleeping through the night anymore i think its cause of the caughing and coldView Thread
have the same problem you are having my son is going to be 6 in aug but for the last 2 months i have been forcing him to sleep in his own bed in his own room if he does come into my room at night i make him go right back to his own bedroom at first it was hard for him to understand but now he just comes in takes a sip of my drink i bing to bed ith me due to always getting up with new baby who is sleeping in his own bed i wont make the same choice again but honestly be stern when you start makign your child sleep in his own bed ok because if you give in just once it will continue make it your initiative to set the new bedtime roll in place and like i said be stern because it might take a few weeks but eventually it will workView Thread

my 3 week old baby boy wont drink more then half ounce today and most of the time when he is drinking it he ends up spitting up most of it through his nose i was told last week his pedi thought he had reflux which is why he spits up threw his nose but hes real fussy sence round 6 oclock this morning he drinks the half ounce maybe every hour and screams for like the first 5 min afterwards he hasnt pooped today also im hoping he will before i go to bed because he was doing anywheres between 4 and 6 diapers a day with poop but now im lucky if i get 1 is this normal or should i consult his pedi i remember my 5 yr old always had issues with pooping and we had to use baby enimas for him once a week til he was round a yr or so now he still is lucky to go twicw a week but when he does go we all know hes gonna be a while in thereView Thread

he eats 2 oz every hour an half to 2 hours is what his pedi told us to feed him when he went for his first check up when he was 4 days old because when we left the hospital he was only drinking an ounce every three hours he told us he wouldnt gain much if he stayed at the ounce when we told him he wouldnt take more then an ounce he told us to force him he is formula feed he was on newborn enfamil but wic doesnt cover that so few days ago he was switched to enfamil infant i tryed to breast feed but my milk didnt come in so they told me to just feed him from bottle after trying for almost 2 weeks and we were at time also doing the ounce with formula he had a harsh coming in to the world he his cord was wraped round his neck and had to be cut before he was completely out of me also his head was smaller then rest of his body his shoulders got stuck inside of me his head arms and fingers were all bruised when he was born he also was born naturally circumsized like his fatherView Thread
