To the parents w the 12yr old bowel issue.
I have a 12yr old w/ a pooping issue. This is a medical problem
called incaprisis, my son has this. Their lg. bowel gets so stretched from
constipation that they lose the urge and feeling to poop. Although the urinating
on himself is not a traite of this. This also runs hand in hand with ADHD which my son also has. Like you said rewards only work temporarily. I was told that if it isn't handledbefore puberty it won't be. I highly, highly suggest that you seek a phsycological evaluation as well as a pediatric gastroenterologist. Best wishes and good luck.View Thread
