I saw the article about a teen boy passing out. My son-in-law passed out a few times growing up. He was active in sports. he is 38 now. He passed out sitting down waiting to clock in for work. He has a cardic arrest, if he had been some where by his self he wouldn' be here now. They did cpr on him. They sent him to the hospital, if the doctor that seen him didn't have some knowledge of BRUGADA, he wouldn't know. It is a very rare and the symptoms go unnoticed. The ekg had a different spike and the doctor noticed it. It normaally shows up in males between 30 to 40 years old. To make a long story short. He has a pace maker and defibrillator. They can do a test to see if they have it. It is inherited. His grand father built houses. He fell off a house at 41 and died, that was over 40 years ago. Brugada has only been know about for a shorter time. He has a 19 year old son and he is going to have the test. I HOPE THE LADY THAT HAS A TEEN THAT PASSED OUT READS THIS.View Thread
