He never "claimed" my son, doesnt know him AT all, and he has a very tiny if at all relationship with our daughters.
He left him high and dry, and my son now has a "daddy" that has been there all along, im grateful but one of my biggest fears is having to sit him down and explain all this to him one day.
I can see him asking "So you mean to tell me all those times he came to get Mya & Shy , he just walked right by me knowing im HIS son and did nothing?".....My answer will be "Yes baby ,by no fault of yours"....and " You have a daddy and its unfortunate that your bio dad missed out ,but it was his choice"....What he does with the info after that point , is up to him.....It is ssooo scary though, just thought of it all now...UGH.View Thread

Yes my girls are gorgeous also.....I have a mix of both with my girls, my oldest has dark hair, dark brown eyes and darker skin than the other two, my second daughter is olive skinned, curly brownish/blonde hair and green eyes, and my son is white..LOL..but tans really good.. has dirty-blondeish(sp?) hair and blue eyes...my mom would joke and say "Glad you arent having anymore the next baby would be invisible"...LOL..LOL...Plus their daddy is "6'4" so they are going to be model height...LOL...my oldest is 5'2 already and she's 10yr..LOL.
My son is getting darker as he gets older, so did my middle daughter..but his eyes have stayed blue.View Thread

Its challenging to say the least ,esp school-aged kids t hat are mixed. My kids used to be so confused by people telling they were this and that....they would say they were "mixed up in colors"....BTW my girls are now 9&10yrs old and my son is not even 3yrs old yet....My girls look very exotic and my son is more white than anything else, looks just like me....LOL
Does your child look more white or black?/? Both..? boy or girl...

Umm I cant think of anything else, this board doesnt get much traffic, which is why this thread is soo old...LOL...but I would frequent if people come here.View Thread

Why is it if someone is mixed with black, esp black/white..they automatically get pinned as being "black"?
Anyone know?
Ive seen this even with the President Obama. He is mixed , but for some reason he is "black". Or Halle Berry...she is considered a "black woman"?View Thread

I feel the same way.View Thread
