I use johnson's conditioning shampoo and conditioner in one (blue bottle - see link below) once a week and the silken child conditioner twice a week. I apply the oil moisturizing lotion at least every other day. Everyone's hair is different though so that is what I use.

I started putting my dd#1's hair in pigtails when she was about 4 months, but she only had hair on top of her head so I would only put two pigtails on the top of her head and I would leave the rest down. I haven't done that with dd#2 yet since her hair isn't as long.View Thread

We had DD#2 in August and we named her Avery. Her hair is much dryer than Alayna's and we use the oil moisturizing lotion on her.View Thread

I try to leave it on for as long as possible during dd's bath. I usually have to use a detangler to get a comb thru her hair, but after this product I can actually comb it dry. I think it is the best conditioner I've ever used on her hair. She still needs the "just for me" oil moisturizing lotion, but at least I don't need the detangler.View Thread
