My Story:
My name is Nick I am 20 years old I have been sober for 10 months off alcohol, marajuana, and a synthetic drug called Kush.
About 3 months ago I went to the ER for dizziness, nausea, and loss of balance they sent me on my way with vertigo meds that did nothing for my condition. When alll this happened my right hand was as if a motor boat was inside of it I wasn't really paying attention to it I was more concerned about being able to stand up without falling over. After my symptoms started to clear up I decided to see a neurologist for my hand that is when he diagnosed me with early onset parkinson's.
I can't believe this I think I am still in shock but it makes since why I wake up so stiff and now about every other day I have a tremor all down my right side my trunk twitches I'm wobbling and I move very slow I can't sleep at night and I have stomach aches a lot. All the signs are here I won't leave my house on a bad day.
People stare at me like I'm a freak which is what I feel like and I hate it with the passion.
I have stayed sober through all this and I plan too but this is so hard!
I just never know what to expect from my body on a day to day basis I'm tired all the time. I can't work.
Im depressed and scared of what this disease will do to me.
