Sadly I have to join in on this. It's been happening for about a year and a half. She is a Jack Russel nearly 12 years old. But without fail it always results in wetting the bed so I have her on one of those incontinence blankets. Happens on average once monthly but one day it was twice.I dont believe it is temperature related. I am starting to think that heart trouble is to blame. She does have a heart murmer. As has been said, this is no dream or doggy nightmare-its awful and she is in some sort of 1/2 sleep, takes about 30 seconds of talking in her ear and saying her name then slowly comes round and the tail starts wagging. Doesnt seem to feel guilty about wetting like she would if I was to come home and find she had done it( not that it happens as she is always with me) just wants to lick it up and clean herself. I would dearly love to get to the bottom of it,has anyone got any further?View Thread
