I have a 1yr old mix puppy half mini dachshund half terrier. She is only 4lbs and very delicate. She usually barks non stop but for over a week now she hasn't had much energy, acts like she is in pain if she tries to bark and gives a high pitch cry if I pick her up. Also she now has the worst breath ever! It smells like a dead animal (seriously). I brought her to the vet and she thinks its a possible spine problem but to try anti-inflammatory and pain killers for a couple weeks before taking X-rays and alot of other testing. I think it's something internal due to the breath and cry when I pick her up and seems in pain if she attempts to bark. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.View Thread
