Did you ever figure this out? my dog has done it for years. she is 10 and had parathyroid surgery last year. what you are describing is excatly what happens to her. at first we thought it was because she is a larger dog and her water was on the floor. I read that sometimes when larg dogs have to bend down it can cause them to get this type of symptem. that seemed to help a little, but after 2 to 3 years of not seeing this, she started again. like you said no vets seem to know and of course she is never doing it when i can get her in. this time is really bad and on top of eating grass, she is almost hyperventilating because she hates the feeling so muchView Thread
