Not only does drinking grapfruit before a high carb and high fat meal cut the absorption of such, it increases insulin resistance. Your Doctors need to do more research before creating such inaccurate nutrition articles.View Thread
Note particularly the quality of life these animals continue to enjoy despite potentially life-threatening diseases.
Referral to a specialist starts with a specialty physical exam of the animal. Whether or not additional diagnostic tests and treatments are done, the owner receives answers to questions that may have regarding their animal's advanced disease.
You can watch the whole presentation that took recently at the ACVIM Annual meeting or the shorter individual presentations.View Thread
I found an abandonded cat in our builidng white so friendly and full of affection . I decided to keep her . when I took her to the vet she decided to do aids test and gave her a shot ( as we didnt know if she had any) and ofcourse a nice bath , she is not microchipped or sterilized and the vet said that she is one year max . Also the doctor said that she is flea free .
Is there any other things/tests I should do ?
she drinks more than once a day , she eats very little but so loving and like to stick with me wherever I go whenever Im at home .
she purrs all the time when I stroke her .
she doesnt paly a lot or move a lot .. she plays very little and then lay down or roll over ....etc
I lost a my first pet when he was ten months old for blood infection in just two days and Im still suffering . I dont want to go through the same experience again . do u think she is ok and just getting comfortable with her new place and ownver ?
