Remember Your Beloved Pet
My dog has a Martingale collar so I can give her leash a quick tug and release when I want her to heel and she isn't listening to me. That will quickly and firmly get her attention. When she looks at me I will then praise her and tell her "Excellent"!
What tips do you have about your dog that may help other community members to better enjoy their walks with their dogs?

The CATalyst Council is reaching out to all parties - the pet healthcare community, shelter and welfare organizations, government, commercial groups, and the public - to ensure that cats receive the proper care and attention they need and deserve.
The Catalyst Council is made of up veterinary professionals, industry leaders, individuals from shelter/humane organizations all focussed on the cat.
They have a great resource for cat owners; CATegorical Care: An owner's guide to America's #1 Companion. You can download it for free from the website.
Tell your veterinarian about this website because there are some materials they can order for their practice to promote cats and cat health care.View Thread

The second Ah Hah moment came in March of this year. On the Pet Health site of WebMD I found the second answer - Liver. I immediately changed her canned food from PetGuard to Nova Turkey and Chicken and what a difference. She has changed so completely and her beautiful coat is once again thick and shiny and she is not grumpy.View Thread
- What type of pet do you have? What is its age? What sex? Is it neutered?
- When was the last time you saw your veterinarian for this condition? Is the problem getting better or worse?
- What medications is your pet taking, either medications prescribed by your veterinarian for this pet, another, giving your own medications or over the counter remedies?
- When did the problem begin? What were the initial signs? Have they changed in frequency, severity, or location on body?
- Are there other pets in the home? Are they affected?
- What do you think is causing the problem?
- Have lab tests or x-rays been taken and what are the results?
Wishing you happy, healthy pets...
