I went on the BC pill after my daughter was born, 6 weeks after, and was on it till she was 15 months old. A year after i stopped the BC pill, we decided to try for #2. We got preggo within a month, unfortunetly we miscarried at 10.5 weeks and i had a D&C. Since then ive had problems with bloating, not ovulating, longer cycles etc, then i recently got diagnosed in August with PCOS. I am the atypical PCO. I am currently on Met as well. I am convinced i got PCOS from my miscarriage, bc i never had any signs or symptoms before my d&C. I think it really threw my hormones out of wack and caused it! We have no idea if we will be able to have another one. The last 2 cycles ive ovulated but never concieved. We are seeing a FS in jan, hopefully they can figure it out.View Thread

I am in the same situation as you, DD 3 and been trying since out M/c in december of 2011. I recently got diagnosed with PCOS(august), even tho my only symptom is cysts, and longer cycles. I have been on Metformin since then and have had confirmed ovulation each month, blood test and temperatures bbt. Im lost as to why its not working. I posted about Male factor , so i jsut dont know. I too am frusterated. I also got AF today after a 38 day cycle, even tho my last 2 months have been 34 and 35 days. Met has definelty not shortend my cycles. Anyways, just wanted to let you know i feel your pain and i hope we can figure all this out!! Baby dustView Thread
So i just am REALLY curious, last year at this time i was pregnant within a month but unfortunetly i miscarried and had a D&C. Its been over a year now, got diagnosed in August with PCOS, even tho the only symptom i have is Cysts, Just was wondering, if things can change with the guy?? I just dont get why we havent been able to concieve even with me ovulating and on metformin..?? It doesnt make sense. I thought that the only way things can change with the guy is if he has had trauma, which has not happened ....im really confused?? Any insight would be good. We have a FS appoint in January but it jsut seems like we arent getting anywhere with me ovulating and on met..thanks
Awww im sorry to hear about your m/c. *hugs* I m/c in December of 2011 and just got diagnosed with PCOS in August. Ive been on Met since August and if i do fall pregnant, i am thinking my doctor will keep me on Met for at least the first 3 months. Any info would be great too!View Thread
So i have been charting my temperature all month and the last 6 days ive had 97.7 97.7 97.6, 97.6 97.6 then it dipped down to 97.4 and this morning i took my temperature about an hour earlier and it was 97.9 then i took my temp at the regular time i always do and it was 97.7. Which one should i go by? and do you think that i ovulated with just a .3 degree of a difference? I know i should wait another couple days to see if i continue to have high temps but just curious as to which one i should write down, the 97.7 or 97.9 and why it would be that much of a difference in an hour. I have tried that method before randomly and its always been the same temp. THanks. (Hope this makes sense, lol) Here is my chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/400f08View Thread
It went great! She was SOOO helpful and she had lots of questions. It felt so good to talk about how i was feeling about being diagnosed with PCOS. She doesnt think i have PCOS bc i dont have the classic symptoms of the syndrome besides cysts and those can show up for whatever reason. She suggested an action plan for me and talk to my doc on how im feeling since he diagnosed me and also to get a follow up ultrasound in Jan to see if they are still there. Very interesting! I def feel better and its like almost like a weight has been lifted bc of holding everything in for so long. I would def try it!! it is relaxing and it seems to help even with the one treatment.
