My Story:

I am female in her twenties! I was diagnosed with pcos at the age of 17.
I was having less periods and was concerned so I had tests run and was diagnosed with pcos. I started taking birth control pills to regulate my period. I took them for about 2 years after being diagnosed and then I stopped. I was told because of my weight is why I developed pcos. I am considered to be obese and now because I have pcos I was told it will be hard for me to lose weight! I have struggled with my wieght for many years so I am going to the doctor to discuss more about my pcos and hopefully treat my condition and improve my health! If anyone who has pcos wants to talk about it I am here at webmd sometimes! I know it can be easier to talk to ther people with the same condition!
