It's hard enough trying to get pregnant when it seems like everyone else is succeeding - added to the fact that doctors and fertility centers sometimes seem to just not have enough time to answer every question about PCOS or explain every option. MOMtility was founded by two fertility nurses who realized that for themselves, when they experienced fertility issues and high-risk pregnancies and found themselves in the patient's seat. The service they started provides women with a personal guide, someone they can speak to by phone, video chat/skype, or email - and ask every question, explore any situation, or just talk about the challenges they face. Come check us out - the first 30-minute session is free!View Thread
Like many women, life is daily struggle to overcome my many PCOS symptoms including hirsutism, weight gain, missed periods and depression. One really valuable support resource that I have found is http://www.pcoschallenge.com . I've learned so much from their weekly radio show which features prominent PCOS experts including endocrinologists, naturopathic physicians, dermatologists, psychologists, nutritionists and others. The site also has a television series that focuses on helping women with PCOS and provides information on how to get support through local offline PCOS support groups.View Thread

It's called With the Exception of Taco Tuesdays . This looks like it is going to be a hilarious blog. I think it might get a little um, "colorful" at times. This girl with PCOS who has trouble losing weight has just moved to a beach house because it is her husband's dream. She hasn't owned a pair of shorts or a bathing suit for years. She either needs to lose the weight and actually leave the house or give up and watch her hubby go surfing everyday with a bunch of college girls. Of course she feels misunderstood and that no one understands, especially her skinny friends and husband. Oh and after years of infertility she had 2 kids, so maybe she'll be giving some insight on that. She is not holding back and is sharing very personal info that I think many of us can identify. She just gave up flour and sugar, with the exception of taco tuesdaysView Thread
