My Story:

Hi!! We've been TTC #2 for 16 months. (I had desperately wanted another baby for years - but the timing was bad for TTC) We have a beautiful daughter who is 4 years old. We didn't have any issues getting pregnant with her. However, for our second we did five rounds of clomid due to irregular periods and lack of periods, but none of the rounds were successful. We decided to take a step back and relax the month of November after the 4th and 5th round, and we were delighted when we found out I got pregnant! We are so happy and praying and hoping for a happy and healthy nine months!

Yes it is so hard to sleep on your side! Even with my belly, I wake up multiple times...

Well, I have posted how absolutely excited I am.. so now I'd like to say.. that boy am I getting uncomfortable!! I can't believe I used to worry about wanting a belly.. LOL. I feel like the last month I have just "popped" and thats what other people say about me too. I love having a cute bump.. but it kinda hurts honestly! I have to bend and stoop alot at work and that sucks, luckily I don't work full time. I have been having heartburn and thats uncomfortable but the main thing is just getting used to my big ole belly that keeps getting bigger. I love it, but it really is pretty uncomfortable! I just kinda want to sit and do nothing. haha. And I'm only 26.5 weeks!! I have a lot of time left and I'm going to get SO much bigger I know! It's been years ago that I was pregnant.. and then I didn't have a job and or another child, so needless to say I slept alot. haha! I love feeling her move all the time. It really is just so neat. I'm trying to prepare myself for the fact that the third trimester is coming and the discomforts are going to multiply.. and I live in KS where we had record high temperatures last year (100 and up every day) so I'm hoping to find a good swimsuit (could one possibly fit by that point? lol) and chill at the pool and enjoy the inside air conditioning this summer!

One other thing that kinda bothers me is that I told a few of my friends that I thought my baby was a boy. Well it wasn't really a preference, it was just that I really just thought it was a boy. I thought my daughter was a boy too! Of course I'd love to have a boy someday, but now I feel like people think I'm not excited about having a girl! Which I totally am beyond excited!! So if I have another baby I'm keeping my mouth shut one way or the other! My DH's ex girlfriend (who we are somewhat friends) just found out she's having a boy and they seemed hesitant to tell me it was a boy. It doesn't bother me at all and I hate that people think it does!! If that makes sense.
