I am feeling more than ready to get this over with . I'm pretty uncomfortable and everyday things are getting harder and harder every day. I do want the babies to stay put as long as possible though. I'm still working and hoping to work as long as physically possible. I am 28 weeks 3 days right now. My doctor said she won't let me go past 38 weeks so at most I have 10 weeks left....which seems like a lifetime!View Thread
I am also pregnant with twins via IVF. I only see a high risk OB which is nice because it cuts down on the doctor's appointments and a regular OB isn't going to do anything the high risk isn't already doing. I see her every two weeks but I anticipate going to every week soon.
Congrats! I just took my regular prenatal vitamin then at 20 weeks she started me on an iron pill. I will tell you that with this pregnancy my "morning sickness" was horrible - so much worse than with DS. I will also say this pregnancy is MUCH harder than with my singleton, however, it will all be worth it in the end.
I just looked up my betas - 1st - 285, 2nd - 813, 3rd - 2474. My first beta was 11 days past a 3 day transfer then the others were 3 days after the others. I'm not sure when I lost the 3rd because I didn't even know about it until about 12 weeks when we went for the NT scan. Until that point my RE never said anything about it and I never noticed it on the US. As soon as they started the NT scan I saw the 3rd sac right away and could see something in there but it was obvious it had stopped growing a while ago.
To be honest, I wasn't upset about the 3rd. 2 is going to be challenging enough! I believe we heard heartbeats around 6-7 weeks? It was pretty early.
Good luck on Wednesday and update when you can.View Thread
I believe my first beta was 285 then it shot up from there to 800ish for the second. I know it is still hard to determine based on betas. Mine actually started out as 3 (YIKES) but one stopped developing but I'm sure that contributed to my high betas at first.
I am looking forward to your US to see how many you have in there! I think I was about 5 weeks when I had my first US.View Thread
I'm glad to hear everything is looking good for you. I am almost 25 weeks and each day it gets a bit harder but I'm hanging in there. My doc and my boss keep pressuring me to stop working but I'm not ready to do that yet. My goal is to make it to 30 weeks before I stop - that gives me about 5 more weeks....just think, you may have had your little one's by then Other than generally feeling uncomfortable and tired I'm doing well. I do get this terrible pain under my left rib cage almost every night. I have no clue what it is but if I lay down flat on my right side it usually subsides after a bit.View Thread
