As new moms, we discuss everything to prepare us for that special day our bundle of joy arrives, from cribs and car seats to breast or bottle. One thing that does not get much discussion, however, is how Mom will cope with all these new changes. Did you know between 10-20% of new moms experience postpartum depression ?
Let's face it, we are not born with a parenting manual, and sometimes the responsibility of raising a new baby can be overwhelming. Postpartum depression symptoms are very different from the "baby blues," a heightened emotional state that can hit 80% or more of new moms in the first days after the baby is born. True PPD can happen during pregnancy and continue well after delivery. If you're already feeling a bit of the blues, Dr. Schwartz's Depression Community can also offer support to help you cope.
Hehe...yeah, men can be sort of weird. They don't like the attention, I guess. But, to me, if we celebrate Father's Day with them it's a good reminder of what's important to us. Plus it makes them see that being a Daddy is a big deal.
Sometimes I think guys just say they don't want anything because they don't want to bother telling us what they want! LOLView Thread
Baby in the tummy, it's all up to mommy. But once the baby's had, it's bragging rights for Dad
Grab a cup of tea of your preference (if you don't like tea then you can grab a cup of your favorite coffee), bring some cookies and share with us your plans for this weekend and your review of the week that just finished.
Yes, I'm talking actual beverage you can drink as you share...not a virtual one! LOL And, make sure you share what you're sippin' on!
You wild child you!! How fun and crazy is that to elope, just like that!? Congratulations!
Yeah, that is pretty weird that your uncle creeps up on you and the other females like that. Has anyone ever said anything to him? If it were me, I would just confront him and tell him it's weird and it creeps all of us out, so stop. Let it fly, sista! Who knows, maybe he just thought it was ok? But, I'd still tell him to knock it off and respect my personal space.
Good luck and wishing you a very happy and long marriage!
