I went in for the weekly visit and I was dilated only 4cm just like the previous week and the Dr asked if I was ready to have the baby today. I told her, Yes please because I can't move anymore. She sent me straight to the hospital where she broke the bag of waters and regular labor contractions started almost right away. Almost four hrs later I was about 6cm dilated and it hadn't change for the past 2hrs so I had enough, I gave up and asked for an epidural. The RN told me that it should help a lot because it relaxes the muscles so that labor progresses. Indeed it did, about an hr later I was dilated 10cm so they told me to start pushing. I pushed for less than 30 mins before we met our handsome little boy. Breastfeeding is going great, I am also pumping because he gets full and I have to pump the extra breastmilk. I started storing it in the freezer. We are doing great, our 16 months old gets jealous when I am holding the baby. Thank you Ladies for your support. I can't believe I have three wonderful chidren now.View Thread
Hello Ladies! I really appreciate that you have been thinking about me. I have tried a couple of times to post an update but for some reason WebMD wasn't working for me. I am glad I tried it again today. I hope you and your families are doing well. I am 40w1d today, no baby yet. Dr said we'll wait till 41w and then she will break the bag of waters to start labor, that should be enough she said. I am getting so inpatient ,I can't wait to meet this little guy. Those progesterone injections really do their job well Wishing you the best Ladies. I'll post the birth story asap. (((HUGS)))View Thread
Hello Ladies! I am so glad to see that you and your families are doing well.
Sorry I haven't been around much, I have been feeling so tired since I started third trimester. Our 14mo old is keeping me so busy, she turns everything upside down especially the drawers of the dresser. I keep putting the clothes in and she keeps taking them out, it's a maybe 4 times a day kind of thing. I have gained 20 lbs so far, I'm 32w5d but I feel like I am in my last month of the pregnancy. Passed the glucose test, so far so good. I still get the progesterone injections, 3 more and I'll be done. I am so thankful for those injections. Have a great summer Ladies! (((HUGS)))View Thread
Hello Ladies! Happy late Mother's Day to you too. So glad that you and your little ones are doing well. They grow up so fast. Our eldest daughter turns 9 in a couple of weeks and Miss Alli is 13 months. It's been harder to carry her around lately, she is getting so big. She loves to walk around even when she falls she giggles and up she goes again. I am 26w4d and gained 13 lbs so far but I feel like I am 50 lbs heavier. Other than that no problems so far. I am getting my injections done every week.
An_262388: Welcome to the board and Congrats to you!View Thread
Thank you Ladies! Sometimes it's hard to believe that in less than two years we will be a family of five. We didn't think it was going to happen for us after what we went through but lesson learned ,never lose hope. Have a great week Ladies!View Thread
BethAnn.so glad DD is doing well. Usually they do better after turning 6 weeks old. Our little one stopped being colicky right after she turned 6 weeks. Heather you have been busy lately planning Birthdays. The first birthday is bitter sweet, there is happiness but then you realize how fast they grow up.
Update: 20w today, have only gained 6 lbs so far. Our u/s apt was on Thursday and everything looked great. We are having a little boy this time. DH saw it and couldn't wait till the technician said it, he just jumped out of the chair and said "it's a boy,I see it". It was so funny. Thank you for asking Ladies and Happy Birthday to your kids.View Thread
Hi Heather! Hope everything is great with you. I have been waiting to post an update until after my appt. next week. It's the big 20 week u/s, I can't wait but in the same time I worry. Hopefully everything is great with the baby. So far so good,no more morning sickness, I've gained 6 lbs. Our little ones are not so little anymore,I can't believe your little girl turns one in a week and mine turns one next month. Where does time go? Happy Birthday to both of your babies in advance!View Thread

Ani and baby : 14w6d w/g : 2 lbs
Been feeling ok,still having morning sickness just not as bad. I will start my progesterone shots in less than two weeks, fun. Next month I have the 20w u/s and I can't wait to see this little one, hopefully everything will turn out ok. Our 10 month old has been keeping me busy, she is home with me all day which means that I can't get anything done. I try to put clothes in the dry and I hear her saying "mama",she keeps calling me until I pick her up. Have a great weekend!View Thread
Congratulations! I am so happy that everything went well. What a beautiful name! I had a natural birth with our second too and I was on my feet right after, when the nurses took the baby to give her a bath I was taking my shower. I am doing the same thing this time around. Enjoy your little one!View Thread
