Monday May 14, 2012 at 8:15 am via scheduled C-Section Morgan Leigh was born. 7lbs 15 oz 20.5 inches long. Extremly healthy and happy.
Then C-Section went good, I guess my uterus was so large they had to vaccum her out. It was so funny b/c my whole 2-3 trimester I had like 6 scans b/c they were so worried about how big she was getting and here she was so small and it was just my body! I did have alot more pain this time around then last which is typical on repeat c-sec. I was pretty much helpless for a few days and actually made it worse when I finally felt some what better I did too much and got yelled at by my hubby b/c I was hurting so bad.
On a not funny note, I am glad I double checked b/c somehow the OR nurses left out on the surgery pre op double check my tubal so they did NOT tie my tubes, They looked at me like I was nuts when I wouldn"t leave without a Deo shot! I said it took 2 years for her and I probally would get preggo on the first shot this time. So I have to go get my tubal done in a few weeks.
We are all doing well and adjusting to our new family addition. My eight year old is doing much better then I thought and being a mom the 2nd time around is so much more relaxing then with the first.
Thank you all for your support during this pregnancy.View Thread

29 weeks 4 days
w/g: 11-12 lbs
Have another ultrasound today. Dr thinks I am measuring a little big so they want to keep a close eye. Plus I have the high end of normal amniotic fluid so they want to re check my levels. I have been occasionally leaking clear fluid from both breasts, well yesterday one of the breasts decided to start leaking actual milk. My Dr says it's normal, it has never happened to me before but she says my hormones are probally just higher this time. No other crazy side effects, just really tired. Can't believe in less then 10 weeks I will have my little baby!

Tomorrow, 2-24-12 is the 4 year anniversary of the day my angel went to heave. I was 22.5 weeks pregnant when my water broke and we lost Brooke a few days after that. I know that all that has happened has led me to where I am now in life. I am so eternally grateful for the life lessons I have learned from her and I know her influence in my life will be forever. I am so grateful to be having the new baby this year and I think I almost appreciate her more because of the tragedy I endured to get to this point. I just wanted to post about my angel, the hardest part of having a lost baby is the lack of acknowledgement from the community. I mean if she were alive people would say oh it's your daughters birthday, that's great. But it's like all hush hush since it's her angel day.
Any how if anyone has extra room in their prayers tonight please think of my angel and wish her a happy angel day.
Thanks.View Thread

I also gave up soda and coffe which was even harder then junk food, all I have is water or milk. I will slip 1 soda or coffee a day if I have to have it but try to keep my water bottle full all the time.
Maybe you could see if your insurance will let you see a nutrisionist and they can help with a diet plan. I think overweight pregnancies are way more common now then before and the Drs are more equipped to help us get through them healthy.
I wish you the best and a happy and healthy pregnancy.View Thread

Total weight gain for ppregnancy: 9lbs! I am so happy I have worked really hard to be healthy this time since I am already overweight so I'm hoping I only gain 9 more. I mean obviously I'm not dieting or anything just only drinking water with the exception of a glass of milk or juice a day and tryin, really really hard, to limit the junk food intake.
Baby Morgan is moving like crazy, heart rate is 146. TMI alert- I have been having clear discharge from my nipples but the Dr said that's normal my one hormone level is probally higher than previous pregnancy because this has never happened to me before.
I am having a scheduled c-section (repeat) I asked the DR if I go into labor on my own can I still have the c-section and she said yes. It's really the birth plan I want to follow for many reasons so I hope it all works out.
My blood pressures a little high but it's my normal range I just think I am new to this Dr she doesn't know what my normal is, so they will watch it, I had high blood pressure with DS the last 4 weeks so I figured I would get it again.
Anyhow hope all is well with everyone!View Thread

My Drs appt went good, this is the new DR, besides my appt starting 50 mins after scheduled, but I was stupid enough to make my apt right after lunch, The baby had a good heartbeat of 145, and everything seems wonderful.
Thanks in advance for any help on my question!View Thread
