Welcome Mel and Kailah! It is good to see new ladies join this board!
Cody & Baby Girl (Wonton as nicknamed by her grandparents)
s/c: Having pain in the side of my stomach, not sure what LO is doing in there, but it is uncomfortable. Hips are hurting off and on. Snoring a lot, keeping poor DH up. May have to try those nasal strips to see if that helps. And starting to swell a little bit in my hands and ankles.
Other: Trying to finish up the registry since the invitations went out last week. This will be my last weekend before the craziness of May hits. We are going to Vegas the 1st weekend, working the 2nd, baby shower/family in town the 3rd, then going to Dallas for Memorial weekend the 4th weekend. I hope I can make it!
Next D/A: May 10th OB, growth scan and GD test...then we start going every two weeks!View Thread
Hi Melissa! Congrats again to you! That is funny that you mentioned this. I was feeling really down thinking that our IVF didn't work, then woke up one morning and my breasts were very tender...that morning I got my first BFP. And like you, that seemed to fade but then came back later on in the 1st tri (and I still have breast pain occasionally even now). I think it is totally normal to have some symptoms come and go. I did not have any m/s either, so it was quite a nerve racking 12 weeks, but so far everything is going fine. I am very happy for you and hope that everything works out this time. Sending lots of sticky baby dust your way!!View Thread
Hi ladies! Tuesday update here...yesterday was a bit on the crazy side at work, didn't even have time to check in and read updates, much less post any.
Nicole, can't believe your moving day is almost here! I'm glad you got your OB lined up in AZ!
Kirsty I hope the new meds make you feel better and allow you to get some sleep. You need all you can get before your baby boy arrives!
Cody & Baby Girl
w/g: over 20...can I stop counting now??
s/c: Having possible RLP and lower back pain. I have decided my hips/lower back really hurt if I don't sleep with a pillow between my knees. So I am now sleeping with a fortress of pillows! But whatever works, right?
other: Going to try to schedule some classes at the hospital this week, if I can get a free minute or two. Work has been super crazy busy, and I feel like I need to start working OT now just to get everything done before I go out on maternity leave. Oh, and today is 100 days left until EDD...tomorrow I will be in the double digits! Yay!
next d/a: OB, growth scan and GD test 5/10, then start going to OB every 2 weeks!View Thread
DH has been able to feel the baby for several weeks. I just saw movement on the outside last week for the first time. Last night we watched my stomach jump, and baby girl punching me on the right side of my belly. So fun to watch!View Thread
That is great he was a good size for being 2.5 weeks early! I am glad the breastfeeding is going well and he has gained back the weight he lost after he was born. I hope the circ goes well...poor little guy! I hope you are enjoying every minute of being a mommy! I can't believe he is already 10 days old!View Thread
s/c: I think I have been having some RLP. Haven't really noticed it or felt it until this weekend, when we were doing a lot of walking. I assume this is what the pain is from. Sleep has been good lately, so hoping that lasts a while longer.
Other: Baby girl is kicking quite a bit now, so it has been nice. DH gets to feel her kicking at night when I am sleeping too.
