You can sign up for Medi-Cal at the doctors office. This is no charge to see the doctor. Or, if they don't have that option, call your county office and sign up. I did this for my last pregnancy. And you and your child will be covered for 1 yr. After that, you just re-sign up.
Good luck and congrats on your pregnancy.View Thread

For this pregnancy, I found out at work. My friend was doing IVF and she was in the process of taking the meds and getting ready to be implanted. I thought I was just feeling 'symphony' pains because of what she was going through. I was late on my period but thought b/c I just had a baby 8wks ago, I my cycle was off a bit. So, on my lunch, I got a test just to ease my mind about being pregnant. I took the test and I saw the 2 pink lines come up right away! I cant remember walking from the restroom to my desk because I was in such shock. I actually cried a little just because I had a 2 month at home.
But after the shock, I so was excited!!! Not only was I blessed with 1 beautiful child, I get to have another. Its still kind of scary knowing that they will only be 11 months 11days apart, but I couldn't be happier!!!! I have a little boy and now have a little girl on the way. LIFE IS GOOD!!!
