I lost my left ovary in 1998 due to an ovarian cyst, between that i have had two handsome boys. In November 2010 i found out i was pregnant, in December 2010 i lost the baby and my right tube due to an ectopic pregnancy. So now i am left with my right ovary and left fallopian tube. I started clomid April 2011. What are my chances of getting pregnant again. And success stories would be great!View Thread
here is an update! In October 2011 i had surgery to unblock my only tube. 6 months later...which is today, i am 4 weeks and 3 days pregnant! With lots of hope and tons of prayers, God has helped me conceive naturally. NO IVF or IUI!
For anyone going through what i have, please know it is possible! For the ladies who questioned if it was possible, it is! and if you ever come across a woman who has my same issue, please let her know that it has happened!View Thread
Well AF showed up late last night Pretty bummed, but i am going to give it another shot with the clomid next month. If it doesn't work, then i'm going to get referred to a specialist who can do IUI. could you please tell me how the IUI helped you? How did the whole process go about? I've read up on it and it seems like they just shoot sperm into your uterus. Hope to hear back from you soon.View Thread
Well I'm 14 dpo. AF is due today. It doesn't feel like its going to come yet, usually i get a really bad headache the day before af. But i didn't have that yesterday, also i've had nausea for the the past 4 days, nothing really major, and i don't know if i'm tricking my mind into thinking i'm having pregnancy symptoms. If af doesn't show up today i'll test tomorrow morning.
So I bought a HPT that could dectect HCG 6 days before missed period, well i took it this morning and a BFN But i'm only 10 dpo. I'm not quite giving up hope! I will test again on Saturday. 12 dpo. I will continue to update any news"Good or Bad"View Thread
Thank you so much for your story! If we can't get pregnant on our own then i will look into IUI. I'm really hoping the clomid works. As of right now..i'm feeling crampy and moody. I took a text this morning at it was negative. i am 9dpo. i plan to take another test on Friday. The doctor who did my surgery told me that my fallopian tube that he removed was so scarred that he thinks that my 2 previous pregnancys had come down my left tube (one without ovary) so that gives me a little bit of hope. I will keep you posted on my outcome.View Thread
@ Phoenix Thank you for your response. I have checked in with my doctor and she tells me that it is still possible because the fallopian tubes can grab the egg from the opposite tube, i'd really just like to know what my odds are! And any success stories if possible. AF is due on the 25th of April, hoping it doesn't show up. I'll keep you posted if i was able to get pregnant without IVF.View Thread
