This is webmd's comments on checking your cervix:
To examine the position of your cervix. Insert two fingers into your vagina, you should feel the cervix at the end. Before ovulation, it should feel hard and dry, like the tip of a nose. During ovulation, you should notice that it seems to have shifted higher and that it feels softer and wetter. However, you should always make sure that your hands are clean before you start poking around. And since it may be hard to tell exactly what you're looking for, you may want to talk to your doctor first.

I was with my mom and another brother, his wife and son. Everyone else Had KFC or pizza and I don't like fried chicken and wasn't in the mood for pizza so I talked my mom into stopping at Panda Express. I ate half of it Saturday night and put the other half in the fridge to eat later. Monday for lunch I decided to finish it. Started feeling ill around dinner time but thought it was just because I hadn't had anything to eat. Sometimes if I go too long without eating I get sick. But eating didn't help. I woke up at 2 am feeling VERY sick and ran to the bathroom. Then again at 6, then slept all day Tuesday. My nieces and nephew were disappointed because their favorite aunt couldn't play with them and my brother was good about keeping the kids downstairs so I could sleep.
That was the worse case of food poisoning i've ever had and I don't want to experience anything like that again.
I think you are right about pregnant women being more prone to getting food poisoning. I've been alot more careful of what I eat now making sure everything is fully cooked and if I don't eat left overs the next day I throw them out.View Thread

We weren't doing anything to prevent pregnancy. Figure it would happen sooner if we just relaxed.View Thread
