Heres another article (Pregnant, and Disputing the Doctor: After having a child, Emily Oster wrote "Expecting Better," a book that challenges the conventional wisdom on pregnancy) that I have found awhile back. I mean the day it came it out. I'm currently in the midst of reading this particular book. Its not like what the reviewer thinks it is. Well, at least not in the intro and 1st part of it, but the rest of it. But at the same time I have found that it was lacking certain areas. Like beyond basic conception, elective c-sections, freestanding birth centers, parenting, and maybe others. In which I highly the other book that I'm in the midst of reading Parenting Without Borders: Surprising Lessons Parents Around the World Can Teach Us, Christine Gross-Loh. Again, this is like a book that I have read earlier this summer, The Business of Baby: What Doctors Don't Tell You, What Corporations Try to Sell You, and How Put Your Pregnancy, Childbirth, and Baby Before Their Bottom Line, Jennifer Margulis. At the same time have mentioned as well. In which both of these books and their authors like another book that I have read Homeward Bound: Why Women are Embracing the New Domesticity, Emily Matchar. Have also mentioned this book.
Hospitals allowing new moms drive themselves and their new babies/companions home
Mean for the uncomplicated ones as opposed to more complicated ones. At the same time as anyone here heard/read/whatever else about this.
This is the 1st time that I have read about something like this in a book that I recently read (Expecting Better, Emily Oster) in which Ms Oster was allowed to this. Whom had uncomplicated labor/delivery/recovery/postpartum with her 1st child (daughter's one). I for one would rather see these kind of moms give birth properly (at home/freestanding birth center with midwife/ives, maybe doula/s) as opposed to improperly (at hospital with doctor/s, nurse/s, tech/s, maybe other/s).View Thread
Back with even more observations of the book and its author Ms Oster. I totally forgot mentioned about postpartum aka fourth trimester, not labor and delivery. At least as I know of from my previous learning and researching regarding all of this. Have found that I have a love and hate relationship with both the book and her. I for one really prefer both Jennifer Margulis, Sarah J Buckley, their books Business of Baby, Gentle Birth, Gentle Mothering. Over her, Annie Murphy Paul, Randi Hutter Epstein, their books Origins, Get Me Out. At the same time heres some authors Jennifer Block, Tina Cassidy, Martha Brockenbrough, their books Pushed, Birth, It Could Happen to You!. In which I have a love and hate relationship with them and their books. This also applies all other mainstream authors and their books that are out there. I really prefer alternative ones more then anything else or at least mixed of both alternative and mainstream ones.
Back again with more info, well question this time regarding Dr. Tuteur.
What kind of OB/GYN was Dr. Amy B. Tuteur aka Skeptical OB when she was exactly practicing doctor instead of doing what she has been doing for quite some time? I really love to know because I really want to know now more then ever. I mean I'm looking for any kind of insight (former patients, co-workers, fellows/residents, classmates from med school, college, before that, friends, family, or whomever). Think thats it for now and hope I made a lot more sense then all of my previous combined. Well at most of them. Thank you, again, in advance. JessicaView Thread
Back with more. I mean my reasoning beyond this and some other copied and pasted response comments that I have received via one of my FB group pages. To help you guys understand were I'm coming from with all of this.
I do understand were you guys are coming on this are coming from on this. But at the same time I'm looking at the big picture with Ms Crosley-Corcoran and Dr. Tuteur and in which again I'm not taking sides. Especially, with doing the right thing after while and in which I really like doing myself. Because I found that its not really helpful unless it has to done, like this case. I mean to the facebook, google plus, twitter, etc.
you comments and posts are terribly hard to follow. It gets frustrating and is not helped by the fact that you have posted over and over again. It is not fair to come and post mean things about a blogger we like over and over again and then to report people because they reply to you. It's also not the pages fault that people replied to you like they did. I hope you understand this.
Response #2 I know that you are against Banning but can you please remove this Jessica person she is spamming, surely you can ban for spam lol
I think this person has some serious issue and I kinda feel sorry for her Still spammy though
Open Letter: Dr. Amy B. Tuteur, your blog site Skeptical OB, Ms Gina Crosley-Corcoran, your blog site The Feminist Breeder
Know that I have been doing this for sometime now. Still feel better if I start all over again with much better version of it. In which its directed to both of them instead of one of them. Even though I was apart of The Feminist Breeder Forums, but still want to know the exact truth.
Tell you, this is copied and pasted from my own email, blog entry, post/threads, etc. In which I'm really love to know from the sources as the other way around. With corrections to it.
Dear Dr. Amy B Tuteur, your blog site Skeptical OB, Ms Gina Crosley-Corcoran, your blog site The Feminist Breeder:
Whom are you really and what's behind your blog site story? Have to say I never really questioned you, your blog, story before until I exactly read of your many blog entries. In which it appears to me you appear to be no skeptical OB, The Feminist Breeder, and etc. By the way I got the link via another link and which I started to investigate you. But really haven't found anything solid on you or blog site as of yet to determine if you exactly a skeptical OB/Feminist Breeder or something else entirely. In which I came here to see if theres anything solid about you and you blog site to help me to determine whom you really is and you blog site as well.
Think thats it for now. Sorry, for all of the confusion that I have caused with all of this.
Back again that I have recently created a google plus page and facebook page regarding all of this.
This all came about when I started a open letter to Dr. Amy B Tuteur, Skeptical OB and then Gina Crosley-Corcoran, The Feminist Breeder came into the picture. Basically, all of this is about them, their blog sites, and beyond.
Back with something else regarding all of this. In which this was added to what to the question that I already I asked on "00EYahoo Answers.
To forgot to mention before that Ms Crosley-Corcoran has started a legal fund via her blog website and which is still in place as I know of. I mean its whenever click on to something to access, but instead it takes you to where you need signed up and etc.
Back with something else regarding all of this. In which I asked on Yahoo Answers.
My question as follows.
Why no one else besides me has yet to report Gina Crosley-Corcoran and her blog website The Feminist Breeder to the authorities including the social media networks that both of them are on? In which I did all of it, last night. I mean just look at the lawsuit that started Dr. Amy B Tuteur and her blog Skeptical OB because of all of this for more info. In which Dr. Tuteur claims that Ms Crosley-Corcoran and her followers have been doing this to her and blog. Well, at least the site providers and at this time don't knowledge regarding the social media networks as well. To me that would be more apporiate spl (spelling) thing to do instead of not doing anything.
