no it does not!!! i told him about the next appt and he was like that would suck to have that as a bday. it all depends on how far dialated i am and if i even make it until then. i'm starting to think that maybe i might have to dtd one more time... it got me effaced quite a bit, so maybe next time around it will start to dialate me?!?!? i guess there's a really bad flu outbreak around here right now, they told me that i can't have any kids under 18 visit me in the hospital
so that means my kids can't even come see their little brother until we go home. i also can't more then 2 people in the room at a time during labor and afterwards too. it really sucks, she said it's a statewide ban. if i were you, i'd check to see if that's going on where you're at too. might spoil your plans too...View Thread

you would go early!! so not much change, still a fingertip dialated but i'm 70% effaced now!!! they said they would strip my membranes but i wasn't dialated enough, you have to be 2-3 centimeters.
for me it's my sciatic nerve, never really had it diagnosed but i've talked to people about it and they agree with me. my next appt is a day early on valentines day before i go to work. sooo tired, i might try to take a nap. it's a little late to do that but oh well, my oldest fell asleep why can't i do it too?!?

you'll probably be one of the lucky ones and have your baby in like a week. i've been watching one born every minute on youtube and it's making me cry!! i know it's silly but it's making me happy seeing other people see their baby for the first time. it's an awesome feeling based on the pain you went to go through to get them here!!View Thread
so either way i'm gonna say it's a race!! i've gained about 18lbs so far with this pregnancy... that's a lot for me because with my first two i'd only gained 10lbs for each pregnancy. 8 days after tonight... woohoo.
i'm just gonna expect to go a week over and hope that he proves me wrong.View Thread

i still think of it as a shock because i was so premature, i was born at 24 weeks gestation. i was only 2lbs 8 oz if i remember right... i was tiny!! my husband and i weren't sure if i would be able to carry to term for any of my pregnancies but i guess we were wrong. didn't think i'd have big babies either because of my size-i'm 4'11''. but my girls were both over 7lbs. 7lbs 8oz for my first and 7lbs 14oz for my second. i'm worried on how big my little man is going to be seeing as he's already about 7lbs. if he's anything like his sisters, i still have at least 2 and a half weeks to go, he's gonna be huge!! they say babies gain about a half a pound a week during the end of pregnancy, so i could be looking at an 8 and a half to 9lb baby!! eeek :OView ThreadSee Related Pregnancy Communities
