Considering you are carrying twins - I wouldn't worry about starting your registry too early because in another month or so you may not feel like doing anything and you will be glad it is done! plus it is super fun

Unfortunately when it comes to the way the US views healthcare - if your doctor doesn't fix it then they sue. It happens in a lot of fields. People don't realize that doctors are working with an inexact science. Medicine may have come a long way but when it comes to how an individual patient responds to care there are so many things that effect the outcome that it is hard to know what will work and what won't. It's not like taking your care to a mechanic. There is no one size fits all treatment plan.View Thread

I also suggest checking out the TTC boards as there are women that have been doing it for years and can help guide you through it all.View Thread

I did not have any issues being on Yaz but then again I don;t have thyroid problems either. I would suggest using condoms until getting on birthcontrol.View Thread

For one you can take a pregnancy test two weeks after you believe you have ovulated.
Second thing is to find a doctor. Start talking to Family Practices and see if you can negotiate a reduced rate, same with specialists. Many times they will take you as a patient even if you do not have insurance if you negotiate it ahead of time. It will keep you under the care of a doctor and reduce the need for costly ER trips. Many times - especially family doctors - don't really need to see you in office if you have a questions about your meds or care.
There are ways around it if you do not have insurance - you just need to dig around for it. I would do it now before you have any further issues and I would also caution against getting pregnant until you can find a doctor. You should be able to get free or reduced cost birthcontrol through a local hospital or community based health center. There are also condoms in both male and female variety.View Thread
