Hi, random thing that happened to me yesterday on Christmas of course. Didn't know a glass bottle had busted in the back of my fridge. My pumpkin pie was sitting uncovered in the fridge. I hate a small piece and felt something crunch but didn't react fast enough to spit it out. I started looking more closely and it was these tiny ice crystals. Soon discovered it was glass from the bottle. But they were the size of glitter and I ate maybe 3-4 of these pin-size pieces I would guess. Of course I get panicky. I called labor & delivery and the nurse said as long as they were that tiny and I wasn't coughing up blood that it would pass normally. (I had a normal bowel movement soon after the incident). So they didn't have me come in. Has anyone had anything similar or know if this is the right action? The baby seems to be moving normally. Glass cannot pass to the baby right? I asked the clerk (who was relaying info for the nurse) and she said no.View Thread
