Had my first appt yesterday routine stuff blood work , urine sample ect. Doctors office moved..I had no idea lol . Poor guy got divorced a month ago and is currently in the hospital ..cut his hand then cleaned his office fish tank..and had to have his bone scraped..( clean office and clean fish tank., but things happen..) Anyway so his nurse took care of me EDD is Sept 30th....WEB MD said Sept 28th so close enough I go back on March 14th DH's bday for 1st ultrasound and glucose test
well first of congrats!!! Symptoms for me don't really start until 9 weeks or so. I think the first thing you'll notice is being tired. Just relax and take care of yourself..pretty soon you'll wish you didnt have symptoms lol..ex 38 weeks along and cant breathe!!!!
Well I am 6 weeks and when prego with DS. OB told me I could lay however I wanted to..however at around 10 weeks laying on my stomach was out of the question...very uncomfortable ..he also mentioned later...25weeks or so..you'll notice your heart beating harder..from all of the work your body is doing to support you and baby...to give it a break lay on your left side since it will be easier on your heart with the blood flow. Mine would flutter like crazy but 10 minutes or so of laying on my left side would calm it down.
My name is Britt I am currently 6 weeks to day. EDD 9/28/12 Team Green.
According to webmd tracker I am due on Sept 28th. This is my 3rd pregnancy. 1st with DS born July of 2010. 2nd m/c Sept 2011. Hopefully all goes well I was induced with DS 1 week early.. mostly b/c I think OB felt bad for me lol Im looking forward to a happy healthy 9 months.. and a nice smooth induction A repeat of pregnancy & labor with DS will be much appreciated
I would say.. if you want to wait.. then wait. don't let them pressure you into a D&C.. I m/c on my own..i personally thought it was a better way to heal..since I had to go through the motions on my own. It took my body 6 days. from start to finish, it was hard..but I am glad I was given the option.
Congrats on being due in Sept! Me too!! My son is 19months old We can be buddies EDD Sept 28 I see OB on Feb 16th . And yes, more doctors should be more caring, afterall we are the ones keeping them in practice. I understand why they try not to get to emotionally involved, but on the otherhand..some compassion is nice. Like I mentioned, I have been so blessed to find an OB office that is so great, I literally trust him with my life. And his head nurse, ( we had our babies 2 weeks apart) cried with me and held my hand after the u/s was over...in my opinion, I couldnt be in better hands.View Thread
I am really sorry that happened to you.. the hospital bill and all. Somtimes people don't think about how things might effect someone. I am very blessed to have a OB that is caring..( he actually rocks) I had a m/c in sept 2011. Started spotting at work, Doc told me to come in and get an u/s to put my mind at ease for the weekend..I know he didnt expect us both to watch "dots" little heart stop..at 8 weeks I waited for the bill to come in for 2 months, it never did. I called and spoke with his nurse, she said that his office was not going to bill me for anything. And that he never does when things like that happen. I almost cried. I sent them a fruit basket.
As for the topic, no they are not the same in my opinion. You wanted your baby..but someone else had other ideas.
I know how you feel.. DS will be 2 in July ( a little farther) . I have sort of mixed emotions about my baby growing up and having another one ( obviously can't go back now & wouldnt want to )...I also had a m/c in sept 2011...I didnt think it would be so soon!View Thread
I am pretty excited. Well it's still kind of ..really...?? I got home last night after a bad day at work and found DS standing on a kitchen chair.. in a diaper and a sweatshirt......"washing dishes" , soaking wet... I said.. " what are you doing"...lol he just started babbling away If I can have moments like that..everyday for the next 9 months I know we'll be just fine View Thread
