I wasn't doing anything to prevent pregnancy but I wasn't the happiest when I found out and it was on Valentine's day. My boyfriend was very excited and still is and I only have aprox. a month left. And I am not as young as you are. I've always wanted to be a mommy and I should have been excited to find out that I was pregnant but I wasn't and i'm still not excited.
I think most of my fears came from the fact that I come from a very religious family and sex before marriage is frowned on. I didn't want to tell my mom because of how she would react.
I still don't know how I feel about having a baby and i've had lots of experience with babies since I'm the 2nd youngest of 9 kids and have many nieces and nephews.

I have a mild case of RLS and I have insomnia. I take Trazodone at night to help me sleep. Talking with my doctor I was told that the trazodone is ok to take during pregnancy and the problem i'd have is withdrawl symptoms the baby will have after he's born. But the symptoms are less if I breastfeed because the baby is still getting some of the meds through the breast milk and then I can slowly take myself off the meds and the baby should be fine.
Maybe you can try Trazodone and see if that helps.View Thread
Try eating 6 small meals through out the day and not 3 large meals. If you are dealing with morning sickness this might help. Be sure to not let your stomach get empty because that can make you feel more sick.
Drink as much water as you can. Normally it's 8, 8 oz glasses of water but since you are pregnant you need more than that. Drinking plenty of water will help with the swelling you are likely to get later in pregnancy and it also helps with constipation.
Try relaxation technics to help you relax. Try to find which positions work for you. Tummy, left, right side, Etc and maybe add an extra pillow or two to prop you up. That will help with the stuffy nose that comes with being pregnant.
Sleep is hard to get in pregnancy because you just can't get comfortable and the bigger you get the worse it gets and having to get up several times to pee doesn't help. Some nights I have to sleep in a recliner. You can also try drinking some warm milk before going to bed. Milk has tryptophan which has been used as a sleep aid.View Thread

I have the same problem and I use the breathe right nasal strips and that seems to help with the stuffy nose. I'm not sure if there is much that can be done, it's just one of those wonderful pregnancy symptoms. Try adding an extra pillow so you are propped up more as you sleep. This should help the mucus drain down your throat into your tummy. It helps me.
My doctor told me the best medicine for swollen feet and ankles is a swimming pool. Since the pool opened at my apartment complex I have been going to the pool nearly every day. It's also nice to relax in a cool pool on a very hot day. This heat kills me if I can't stay cool.
It has done wonders for my swollen ankles and aching body. Not to mention a little weight loss. The past few weeks i've fallen a couple of times and going to the pool has helped soothe my sore muscles and joints from the falls and has helped me heal faster by taking the extra weight off my joints. It also helps calm the baby. My little guy moves around like crazy and it rocks him to sleep.
So go and relax in a pool and get some much needed relief from swollen feet and ankles.View Thread
