that is a rather contagious virus and i would be cautious. When pregnant you are caught with a much lower immune defense. But you could call ahead and ask a nurse or doc on staff to see if its safe. they may just give u a mask and send you in. probably best to as a pro.
know how ya feel Noodlesbaby11. This is my second baby, my first with my second husband and it was planned. i find myself paranoid that i do everything right. Food, Prenatals, fish oil. the works. where as with my daughter i wasn't worried for the most part. im so nervous to get to the 18th of April, cus that's the first time she would see me, at 9 weeks along. its kinda makes me a lil jealous of the women who can have an ultrasound so early as 5-10 weeks to know things are ok, where im only stepping my foot in her doors. Guess each Doc is different *shrug*View Thread
was last jealous of another pregnant mom 2 days ago. Shes a sweet lady but my husband works with her all the time and i get sad and jealous. He works in and elder care home and works nights. its a hard shift and he ends up sleeping most of the day. he spends more time at work with her and a few other girls then he does awake at home with me and my 2 year old. I just feel left out and jealous sometimes.... i know shame on me. hes a very loyal man. cant help it lol
WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU -- kissed your better half just because you wanted to?View Thread
my goodness i love it! i have an over bearing MIL that pisses me off always saying hows "her" baby or things like that. I have no issue if she wants to watch the kids now and again for we can do a date night but there has to be a line right? she also has a very bad habit of taking away my two year old and basically over riding my rules. dono what im gunna do about her, but i might drop this in somewhere for her to read at her leisure. lolView Thread
Thank you hun, im trying to keep my chin up lol. so far even tho ive tried to stick to my diet im catching myself cheating with chocolate or ice cream lol im pretty sure ive gained weight so far. its hard to fight it when the weather has been too wet and dreary to do my walks. /sigh that and stress with more people inviting themselves makes me think im holding a concert not a wedding lol. life funny i suppose! hehe Hope you have a great time and a amazing wedding tho ^_^View Thread
when my morning sickness is hitting me hard, all i want is either a salad or a sandwich.Something cold and uncomplicated. The thought of anything greasy, or even smells greasy will make me gag. Lucky for me this time around it seems to come and go, so far... Tho i have been craving blackberries agai ! at least its not in dead winter this time lolView Thread
yes!! im am so tired of waiting, why cant i just go in now? lol. thank you both for your reply, im just worried that with the symptoms going away that maybe it was a hormonal pregnancy. im only worried cus my friend had one last month and she had no symptoms. I will just pray everything is alright and wait here, sitting on my thumbs lolView Thread
before i found out i was pregnant i was feeling a lot pregnancy symptoms. now as im into my 6th week they have died out for the most part. I had food and smells that would make me sick that i normally like. Now my tummy and nose dont seem to care anymore. Backache went away last week. Yeah im a little tired but i already have a 2 year old to run after. I have been getting headaches most every day, but they don't last long. sorry, but ive been constipated for a while now. Some mild cramping that could be from the constipation. also no period, which has kept me from stressing much. Ive been prego before and this just seems too easy. i had morning sickness for 3 months with my first. im just worried that everything's alright. My Dr. wont see me til April 18th unless its vital and i can always call. just wanted your opinions. Is anyone else feeling this way?View Thread
no i refuse to eat or drink anything with artificial sweeteners. Its amazing how horrible that stuff is for you! The smoothie diet its a booster to my breakfast, with all fresh or frozen fruits like peaches, strawberries, blueberries and Yogurt. then i have whole wheat toast. Then throughout the day i munch on healthy foods, like carrots, apples and pasta. Then i eat a good dinner, but i have been craving salads with chicken as of late. Im not starving myself at all, i am just watching what i eat. And i make sure to take in what i need, like a fish oil supplement for omega 3's as well as blueberries. And a calcium supplement cus my prenatal only does 15% of daily value. But with my morning sickness anything greasy is such a turn off, makes it easy lol. But yeah i will just order my wedding dress large and have it fitted the week of the wedding. looks like its all i can do lol. But since this is my second baby ( or babies... twins run on both sides of the family lol) i just know that i will show a lot sooner then 1st time. People still didnt know i was prego til like 8 months last time lolView Thread
It was not planned to be a shotgun wedding at all. he proposed about 3 weeks before we found out about the baby. lol. but we are getting married June 14th and i will be 17w+4d's into this pregnancy. Any advice? Im doing a Dr. approved smoothie diet with my "snacks" and vitamins through the day and trying my best not to gain weight. I'm a big girl to begin with, size 20 pants and 40 DD's before i got pregnant. So i have the challenge of making sure my dress still fits when the day comes. I mean if my breasts get any bigger i may not like how my dress fits.. but my future husband will! lol plus i dont want any chance of gestational diabetes., they say bigger girls have a bigger chance at it. anyway! Anyone else having weight issues? or just feel heavy? im only in my 5th week and i feel ive gained weight ;_;View Thread
