As of tomorrow, you will have a new moderator on this exchange. I will be working with her while she gets her feet wet-but I would like you to welcome your new moderator: Andie_WebMD Staff.
I have loved helping out on the trimester exchanges. It has been a long time since I had the joys (as well as fears and frustrations) of pregnancy but pregnancy communities were where I started working online many years ago and still a favorite of mine.
When you get ready for losing the baby weight-come look for me over on the Diet exchanges or if you have a craving during pregnancy but need the recipe re-worked to be a bit more nutritious-come over and say hello on the Food and Cooking Exchange .
Wishing you each a happy and healthy pregnancy and beyond.View Thread
She should check with her doctor asap for recommendations. It could be normal but it could indicate some issues.
Make sure to reduce sodium from all sources, don't stand or sit still in one place for a long time, put her feet up whenever possible and drink lots and lots of water. (the water part sounds weird since reducing fluid is what you want-but it does work)View Thread
That happened to me during two of my pregnancies. The four pounds is likely partially water weight. Be sure you are staying hydrated even though you might not feel like drinking because you feel so icky.View Thread
I did. I later learned (much later) that it actually was acid reflux causing that never ending need to eat. So, I would eat and feel better just long enough feel like I was hungry again. Smaller, frequent, lighter meals might have helped.View Thread
New research says that there is nothing to pregnancy brain . I want to say this research was done by people who never have been pregnant. I think many of my brain cells got trapped in baby thinking and didn't multi-task.
What about you? Are you showing signs of forgetfulness and pregnancy amnesia yet?View Thread
Your symptoms could be many, many things-from hay fever to diabetes to something else. Go see your doctor today-dizziness and feeling lightheaded can be dangerous. No one can help with diagnosis online. You can use the Symptom Checker to help narrow down the possibilities though. I hope you feel better soon.View Thread
