Now that you have had twelve or so days to get to know the new exchanges-let me know what else we can do to help make them better.
We darkened the font. We definitely know you want emoticons and signatures back. We know you want more discussions on a page and easier navigation.(What does that look like to you?) But-what else might help you really love exchanges?
Tell me in as much detail as you can what things still trip you up, what changes you want to see made. (Navigation changes? Which ones? Too much white space? Not enough? Better search?)
I really want and need your ideas. I am making a list and checking it twice-so we can work on getting rid of the naughty and make it nice.
I can't promise anything other than the fact that you will be heard. I want you to know YOU, each of you, is important to us.
If there is anything you don't know how to do yet and it isn't in the Exchange FAQ -let me know that too. I am here to help.View Thread
Share your tips for announcing your pregnancy to the daddy-to-be.
1st one and 2nd one he was there for the BFP-well the first one it was the "Is it a line..no...yes...maybe...no...yes...maybe" followed by a doctor's appoint 2 days later for the sinus infection I got at the same time where I had them test me. I called him and told him as soon as I could find a phone.
The third-I taped the test into an Anne Geddes card.View Thread
The first time I was pregnant I grew breasts for the first time, literally overnight. I hadn't really worn a bra in years because I didn't have breasts. The one I had to wear under blouses and when going to see my mother didn't fit suddenly.
I presented myself at a Kohl's. I looked confused as I tried to estimate just what size bra I might wear. The lingerie clerk measured me and picked out the perfect bra. I felt a little embarrassed but the relief of wearing the right size and type of bra made up for it.
I encourage everyone to get professionally measured each time they get a bra and know what to look for when buying a bra. If your straps slip or you have to use a hook other than the middle set or you feel unsprung when you pull it off and it leaves marks-you are wearing the wrong size. Gaps and overflowing also means wrong size. Don't feel bad though. Statistics say something like 80 % of women wear the wrong size bra.View Thread
If you want to include a picture within a post- (not the persona/profile/avatar image that appears next to the member name on their post each time) you need to have the picture available already uploaded online.
If you have a picture already uploaded online-like on Flickr, Facebook, Picasa, Picapp, Photobucket, a personal website, etc-then you just use the url for that picture.
Be sure you own the picture or have permission to use it. There are some free use picture sites so if you want a generic shamrock or beach or whatever out there but they will ask you to link back to their site. Please follow any rules the picture hosting site requires.
Once you have located a picture you want to use-find out the URL. For the example, I will use a picture here on WebMD:
To turn a url like that to a picture in a post, click the photo icon at the top of this box. It is the one that looks like a blue square in a Polaroid-sort of. Paste that entire url into the pop up box and here is that picture: View Thread
Many members find that an easier work around at this point. Or if you click into a post and then click the latest tabs to navigate on the right sidebar-that can be helpful too.
I know our engineers are working feverishly on improving some of the things that our members most want changed or fixed. Please let me know if I can help you with ideas in the meantime or if you have a particular issue you would like to see addressed.
Know that the discussion issue, emoticons, and signatures are priorities on the tech team's lists already!View Thread
I found that some lemon juice in warm water and oatmeal helped me during the pregnancy I had so much constipation during. I couldn't drink OJ while pregnant because of the heartburn, but I sure did eat a lot of cheerios.
