Overweight women should not try to lose weight while pregnant; but be careful not to gain more weight than recommended. Consume a low-fat protein, like grilled chicken or turkey; whole wheat breads or grains; light dairy, such as skim milk; and fruits and vegetables at each meal. You can have healthy small meal which includes a grilled chicken whole wheat wrap filled with low-fat cheese and veggies, such as carrots, spinach, mushrooms, onions, and peppers.Have a healthy pregnancy.

I'm not one to shout wolf but women do need to understand that its more likely to have a miscarriage from conception to about 10 weeks than almost any other time during the pregnancy. (For normal, non high risk pregnancies that is). Although I do believe a doctor should be visited before any panicking occurs. Don't panic. Many women also bleed, sometimes profusely, and still deliver healthy babys.
Just keep an eye out for clots, dark bits of bloody tissue like gunk. (Sorry if thats a bit insensitive) If its on and off spotting its probably nothing to worry about, if it doesn't stop within a few weeks, see a doctor. My own spotted for two weeks before I started finding clots, oh and don't wear a tampon if you can help it. (It wont harm or keep the baby safe either way but they get mighty uncomfortable if you ARE having a miscarriage.)
I'm not trying to scare anyone into thinking they are having a miscarriage but the possibility is always there and I think women, especially those without medical care or have chosen to go through the pregnancy without medical supervision should be prepared that there is a possibility.
I knew as soon as I found out I was pregnant I would miscarry, my partner and I arent.. compatible for making a baby, (Negative Rh factors and more) Because I knew and because I was prepared for it, its been easier to accept and move on with my life instead of clinging to the shadows of what could have been. I'm not downing on anyone who gets taken by surprise, very few of us arent shocked by a miscarriage, but its best to know as soon as possible.
The sad thing is, most miscarriages take at least a week (depending on the age of the fetus) to pass, mine took about three weeks, it was painful like your worst period or it can be fairly painless (depending on fetus age) but if you keep calm, stay relaxed, and take care of yourself you'll be fine. I won't say it doesn't hurt, physically or emotionally, but its something we can get through with the support and love of our dear ones still with us.
I hope this helps anyone in need of advice.View Thread

Also, I have gained 10lbs already and everything that I have heard and read says that during your 1st trimester you should only gain 2-5 lbs. Im not eating any more than usual and stick to healthy organic foods so Im confused as to how Im packing on so much weight. My husband is being very supportive, but Im feeling self conscious. Please Help!View Thread

My question is how do you stay relax and not worry during this first trimaster?View Thread
But my last regular period was Feb 9-12 ish a little bit till the 13th.
I then had sex on the 14th, but was safe. On the 18th I don't remember what happened because I was unfortunately black out drunk and I think that my boyfriend of the time and I had sex, but we can't remember. I am now with a new guy and we had sex on the 26th and the condom broke. I have been reading a lot a lot of facts online but I can't seem to pin point when i conceived this baby... If anybody has any information on who the dad might be... please help me. I went to the doctor and they said my due date is Nov 18th. I am pretty positive that i conceived on the 26th but I am just so worried about maybe doing something on the 18th.View Thread

Hope this helps!View Thread
I just had my first prenatal appt. and my doctor gave me some free samples of B Natal suckers for morning sickness. A lot of doctors recommend taking Vitamin B6 25 mg for morning sickness and this sucker provides that and it doesn't taste bad at all! It has really helped me so far! Hope this helps some other moms that are combating constant nausea like me!View Thread
