Anyone have any fun/creative ways that they announced what the sex of their baby was/is?
We will be finding out in less than 3 weeks and I would like to tell the grandparents and siblings in a fun way, and we also don't want to find out with them....we want to find out ourselves when we get the u/s (kind of a special moment w/ the husband!) which makes it harder to think of an idea of how to tell them....any suggestions?View Thread
good luck with the testing, how stressfull! This is why i don't get test done, there are so many false positives and you could be stressing over nothing....on the other hand if there is something wrong, the stress while your pregnant isn't going to help matters either.....I just don't see the benifits in it. My mother had a false positive with my brother and the stress almost made her go into labor half way through....needless to say he was healthy and happy baby with not a thing wrong with him. GL to you and I hope that everyone is healthy!View Thread
I am not high risk, but my doctor just told me not to lift more than 25lbs and no ladders.....( I usually unload grocery trucks at work so this is why he put a few restrictions on me)....my day typically consist of doing these things.View Thread
Congrats and welcome back! we are really close...my due date is 5/28, but my u/s isn't scheduled till 1/10...my doctor was pretty adamant about waiting till I was 20w. Which makes me kind of sad because I was hoping to tell my mother what we are having on her bday 1/5.....now I'll just have to come up with some other kind of fun way to share the news!
Anyway, hope you have a happy and healthy 9 mo!!View Thread
So this morning when my DD woke up, she had a slight yeast infection....oh, I felt like crying for her! It is an awful thing for a child to get! I had an appointment at 4 today and made her one right b4 mine. It looks so much better already, with only a half of a day putting the cream on it that the doc gave us.
My appointment went really well. The heartbeat was 166. BP good. And my doc asked if I wanted an US. I said I would love one but didn't want a $500 bill for it (since my 20w one isn't for another 6 weeks) he said oh no, its just for fun, no one will know about it. So me and my DH & DD got to see our LO!!!! It was awesome! So excited to find out what we are having, I don't care either way, but just want to give him/her an identity and a name!View Thread
