We're having a boy and thrilled! We both sort of "knew" it was going to be another boy (have 1 DD and 1 DS already). When our mw couldn't see because of the cord and said "Maybe a girl?" both DH and I didn't feel right about it. Then when he flipped and kicked the cord out of there and we saw it was a boy were were like "That's better! We knew it!"View Thread
DD was exactly at 41 weeks, but I had to be induced because they did a BPP and I had no amniotic fluid. At all. She ended up being a c/s, and it turned out I didn't go into labor because I had an infection in the placenta and it caused the correct hormones to not be released.
DS was born the day before his EDD. And since I never got past 4 cm during DD's induction, I was considered like a first time mom labor wise.View Thread
How 'bout every day? My last 2 pregnancies I was mostly a "cute preggo" who everyone said never looked pg from behind, lol. This time there is NO way that's true. I feel so huge! And I haven't gained much weight at all so that's not it! Part of it is these kids are all so close together I was never able to lose the last 5 lbs from either of my first 2.
Personally I wouldn't induce without a medical reason. There are too many things that can go wrong. Why are you being induced?
If you have to be, sharing birthdays can definitely be fun if that's what your DH wants. Just let him know the kid will eclipse all his birthdays from now on! I personally think June 25th is cool (my b-day, lol) because it's exactly 6 months from Christmas. Just a sidenote. View Thread
This is my third, and possibly my 2nd August baby - My DD was born August 7th, and this li'l guy is due August 5th. Although I'm hoping he follows in his siblings footsteps of not being born in their "due" month and is born in July, lol! (DD was due July 31; DS due Nov 1st, born Oct 31st)
Although we know we're on the blue team, we haven't decided on a name yet. Hopefully soon!View Thread
I had this with my last pregnancy. By the time they did a check at 28 weeks, it had completely moved up and out of the way! 90% of the time that is the case. There's really not a lot to worry about with it. If your dr wants you on pelvic rest (no sex) so as not to irritate it since it's so close, that would be your only concern. Mine said it wasn't necessary, not that we were DTD very often, lol. Basically for me it just ment an extra u/s. View Thread
