I noticed that some of you moms-to-be were having problems with migraines and finding different solutions to end them. Here is a great WebMD article that points out possible triggers (chocolate, caffeine and MSG) as well as self-care tips and safe medications that you can take to hopefully relieve yourself.

What are your contractions telling you?!?
I know that it can be frightening to feel contractions when you know that you are not ready for labor. Here is a great article with a helpful chart on differentiating between Braxton Hicks and True Labor Contractions.

I know that some mothers-to-be are very strict about their birth plan and know exactly how they want the whole delivery process to go!
Do you know about all of your options with delivery? Have you thought about speaking to your doctor about the big day and all of your preferences?
This article is a great source to refer to when considering all of your options for this momentous day:
- Comfort measures - Nonmedicine, pain medicine and water birth
- Pain Medicine - Epidural anesthesia, pudendal and paracervical blocks, narcotics
- Newborn Care Decisions - Banking your baby's umbilical cord blood, keeping the baby with you at least one hour after birth, delaying vitamin K injection and tests until the newborn calms, your visitation schedule

Here is a great article that explains your baby kicks! When you should feel them, how much is expected and when you might need to consult a doctor.
