The day you deliver, outside will be warm. Your baby will arrive in the late afternoon. After a labor lasting approximately 7 hours, your child, a boy, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 4 pounds, 13 ounces, and will be 20-1/2 inches long. This child will have dark green eyes and a little patch of blonde hair.
Well, if we have a boy we are going to have a lot of stuff to return because our 20 wk U/S showed a girl in my belly. As for the other stuff...I'm black and my husband is white with blue eyes--so I guess it's "possible" that our girl could have dark green eyes but the blonde hair?? Well, with an olive or mocha complexion, green eyes and blonde highlights--she'll be a good looking girl. May have to get her into modeling! J/K! But 4 lbs, 13 ounces??.... is that even healthy?? Anyway, this is too funny. I hope everyone gives us the updates to see if ANY of this is correct! GL to you all!View Thread
You are a brave woman! I would love to still rock my heels--I can get away with heeled boots when it's cold outside, but for the most part I wear flats. And being 5' 2" and definitely more "round" than usual I just feel frumpy (sp?) but oh well...View Thread
I hear ya!! I thought I was in okay shape before this pregnancy but now I look from one end of the mall to the other and think "Oh, nevermind!" Also, I'm in outside sales so getting myself and my briefcase w/ supplies and paperwork from the car into a building is a challenge--not to mention when I'm trying to keep up with a client as he/she walks effortlessly down the halls to a conference room. Needless to say--I've pretty much given up on heels for now. By the time I actually begin the meeting I'm usually sweating like a pig and praying the gas bubbles I'm feeling will behave until I get back to my car! Lol! Can anyone tell I'm ready for maternity leave?? (Sorry camnfaithsmom, my comment kinda turned into a rant--but yes, I'm experiencing a lack of stamina as well )View Thread
Pretzel Time, Wetzel's Pretzels, Auntie Annie's, etc... it doesn't matter...just give me a large order of the pretzel bites please! That salty buttery goodness is amazing! I also eat sunflower seeds like it's my job. And this sweet tooth is outta control...I always want something sweet after a meal...bad habit to start!! I also love fruit...the juicier the better...peaches, oranges, grape...yum! Maybe I'm just hungry all the time? On that note, I think I'm going to get an orange out of the fridge. Happy munching ladies! View Thread
Puke peeing...sneeze peeing...or God forbid you laugh too hard while chatting with some friends. It's all ridiculous! And something the guys will never understand. Can't we make a deal that everytime they laugh at us for peeing our pants or having really bad gas, etc...that we get to pluck out one of the hairs on their legs? I think that's fair, right? I know this is my first pregnancy, but I can't imagine that hurts worse than labor pains. And again...this would only be when they laugh at us. Just an idea... View Thread
I will be 24w on Wednesday and I still have cramping. My lower right abdomen is aching a little now as I'm typing this. And I don't have a high threshold for pain so it was hard for me to determine what I should be concered about, but everyone has told me if there is a real problem you'll be doubled over in pain--pretty much unable to function. So I've kinda used that as my guide. This is my first pregnancy too and it took a bit for me to realize that pregnancy just hurts...if it's not cramping, it's backaches or headaches. I even got a cramp in one butt cheek during a 4.5 hour flight! My doc always said as long as you aren't bleeding or spotting then you're fine. You're right at that state where your uterus & ligaments start to get a good stretch and it will continue stretching as your baby gets bigger. I always noticed it more about a week or so before a "growth spurt". My doc also said, like with period cramps, if it gets really uncomfortable you can take a tylenol or use a heating pad. Hope that helps!View Thread
