I tried looking up "bays intestines" but I can't find anything on it?
What exactly is it?
If it's the condition where the intestines formed outside of the baby's body, the baby can make it. I've had 2 friends with babies born where their intestines were outside the body and they did surgery to put them back inside. It's tough in the beginning, but both babies made it and are now perfectly fine. One is 8 the other is 5.View Thread

Today I had a BP spike. I was feeling odd and had my instructor(who is also a nurse) check it and it was way high. I normally have low-end BPs so it was way up there for me.
Long story short, went to the doctor and it was normal. I felt fine. She can only guess by my symptoms that baby was compressing my aorta which was making my heart work harder and faster which makes your BP go up.
Next time that happens I'm supposed to move around, lay on left side, do whatever I can to get him to move.
I'm also STILL measuring 6 weeks ahead on my fundal height. Now at 21 weeks I'm measuring 27. Baby is spot on for 21 weeks, it's just my uterus is jumping the gun a bit. View Thread

Good! It's going by so fast! I'm 24w3d now & still measuring 6 weeks ahead! Haha! She said it's nothing to worry about and that it should slow down when I get closer to the end.
I just can't wait to meet this lil man. I love being pregnant and never wish these 9 months away, but I really want to see his face and cuddle. I want to see how the big brothers will be around him. I'm just so excited and so in love!
Those, my dear, sound like Braxton Hicks. I had them every day from 20 weeks on with my 1st 2, and I've had them often since 14 weeks with this one. The reason baby moves a lot is because baby is getting a little hug from your uterus. They're normal and actually start happening between 6-8 weeks of pregnancy. It's just you can't feel them yet. If you have any pain or spotting/bleeding with them, call your doctor. If they are pretty frequent and bother you, sit/lay down, relax, and drink lots of water.View Thread
