I'm currently 8 1/2 weeks and have been experiencing EXTREME HUNGER! Last night I woke up 3 times in the middle of the night to eat. This is mentally, physically and emotionally exhausting.
I'm not expecting yet, but I wanted to research and possibly choose the hospital or birthing center where I'd have my baby since DH and I plan to conceive this year.
I would love for most of my family to be present during the birth and I know most hospitals only allow about 2-3 people the most.
Are any of you using a midwife in NC? If so, what establishment, how is your experience so far and can family of about 8 be present?
I know they say technically you can't but we all know some women experience bleeding that's like a period and that's what I'm referring to.
I'm just curious and EXTREMELY hopeful. I've had 2 periods since me and DH last BD'd, but now that my period is over I have backaches, knee aches, dull stomach cramping and a tightening in my chest.
I've had odd dreams and my sister asked if I was pregnant, so that made me even more hopeful.
Congratulations! Little girls are so precious! If you always wanted a girl...don't let anyone take away your joy. I know we want our husbands to be just as happy and we don't like to see them disappointed, but you don't have to make his disappointment your own.
If you're happy....be happy! Your husband will definitely come around. Pray for him.
